Jackie Taylor was perfect.
It was a known fact. Perfect hair, perfect friends, perfect clothes, perfect hair, perfect boyfriend.
Natalie knew this. She also knew Jackie's secret.
Jackie Taylor was a lesbian.

Natlie groans as her alarm rang. Rolling out of bed and shrugging out of bed. She grabbed her smokes and tailer keys. Did she have soccer practice today? Shit she had no idea, but she was late.
She ran out the door, grimacing as she looked at her mom. She had no idea where her dad was. She wouldn't be able to make it to first period. She speeds down the street, seeing the doors of school she started to jog, but who cares about missing math anyway.
Right before the bell rang for seconded period Natalie waltzed in huffing and puffing and dropping into her seat. Smiling slightly at her seat mate, Jackie Taylor. Jackie just frowned at her in return.
"Do we have practice today" Natalie asked leaning in.
"Do you not have a calendar?" Jackie gritted out. Natlie just grinned and Jackie nodded.
The peacefulness was short lived because there old as time English teacher walked in.
Miss. berry, the English teacher announced that they will be having a partner project with their seat mate.
Natalie was barely paying attention, while Jackie was taking meaningful notes.
After the teacher was done drowning on Jackie nudge Natalie. "Did you hear that?" she asked. Natalie just hummed.
"We have a book report due on the 30th...we have to work together" Jackie said still writing notes.
"Let's start working on it after school tomorrow, I just need to hang out with jeff anyway." Jackie rambled frowning when she mentioned jeff.
"Are you saying I'm more important than jeff?" Natalie asked grinning
Jackie just rolled her eyes, "Do you want to or not" she asked.
Natalie nodded a bit of a pout on her lips.

The rest of the day went by slowly.
Natalie skipped 3rd period , going to smoke on the belchers.
At lunch she hung out with the rest of the yellow jackets mostly talking to Lottie.
She skipped 4th hanging out with Travis instead.
She went to her 5th class and took a nap, it was useless anyway.
When the bell rang, she was the first one out the door and basically sprinted to the locker room.
When she swung open the locker door there was a sudden switch of the air. Everything felt tense.
She looked around Jackie was sitting on the bench teary eyed. Van and Taissa were making conversation while looking at Jackie. Lottie was changing a frown on her lips. Mari was rubbing Jackie's back whispering something to her. Shauna looked pissed and by the way she slammed her locker Natalie wasn't wrong.
"Um is everything okay?" she asked still standing by the door hair getting in her face.
Jackie looked at her. "Jeff cheated on me.... with Shauna" she said voice cold.
Natalies jaw dropped. They looked like such a perfect couple he had even gotten her a ring!
"I..are you okay?" she asks
Jackie just glares at her.
Natalie blushes under her gaze.
