Teenager's Diary

Summary:

Just a digital version of my poems and favorite journal entries

Notes:

This is the first poem I ever wrote after the passing of my grandfather in 2020.

Chapter 1: Fading life

Chapter Text

Has anyone else forgotten
The greetings we'd never miss
The warmth of a goodnight's kiss?

Has anyone else forgotten
How our grandmothers sang us a lullaby
To prevent us from a fearful cry
But now every time we see her, we fear that it might be the last goodbye?

Has anyone else forgotten
How while walking across the town, a single look from him would make us smile
But now every step without our grandfather feels like a mile?

Does anyone feel that life is passing to fast
And wish that it would last?
