Summary
Regulus Black just wanted a quiet life behind the counter at Artemisia’s, a cozy coffee shop near campus. No drama, no family, no past.
Then James—going by Jamie—walks in, all warmth and sunshine, and starts to melt the walls Regulus has carefully built. Neither of them realizes how deeply their histories are connected—through trauma, through a shared loss, and through one runaway older brother.
Secrets don’t stay buried forever. And love, like coffee, can be bitter—but sometimes it’s worth the burn.
