Chapter Text
Freminet can always tell when he's nearby he doesn't need to see him because he will always hear him first. Everyday where ever he goes he'll some how hear about him or hear him. It could be other students passing Freminet talking about his most recent stupid yet kind decision, a teacher commenting on how helpful he can be even though he often shirks school work, or even at home he can hear him at the front door delivering a package.
Gaming is basically everywhere, and of course he is he knows everyone and everyone likes him there is not one place that wouldn't welcome him with a bright smile. This makes yet another norm that Freminet isn't apart of because he just can't bring himself to like him. Anytime he sees him he has at least someone around him someone to talk to. Yet Freminet never gets such treatment, instead he's ignored unless someone needs him for work, or if it's his family and even then they can't be around him at all times.
So Freminet must sit and watch all on his own as once again Gaming is surrounded by people all seeking his attention for a hundred and one reason. His stomach twisted with an envy that almost feels painful. Now to his credit he's never been direct about his distaste, he knows Gaming objectively has done nothing wrong but that twist in his stomach is enough to at least avoid the brunette.
The bell rings signaling for the final period of the school day to start, a great relief to all students, Freminet included. The moment the teacher stands at the front of the class the twist in Freminet's stomach disappears finally able to ignore Gaming.
-_-
The class ends with some erupting in joy and rushing out of the class, Freminet just waits out the stampede before leaving the class as well. His locker is near his last class so it doesn't take him long to grab his bag and move to leave the school. Moving through the halls is always an arduous task no matter who you are, but for someone who isn't fond of large crowds like Freminet it's like hell.
So when he is finally free of the endless crowd Freminet reaches for his phone to make sure he doesn't have any new messages from his siblings about having to do something before going home. As he expected, a text from Lyney tells him he has to go get milk as they ran out. At a brisk pace Freminet leaves the school ground attempting to drown out the people around him so he could make it to the nearest convenience store in peace.
Maneuvering through the streets Freminet recounts what his plans for the day are. Get the milk, arrive home and make food for himself, take a moment to himself for anything he wants, and his newest addition he has to go tutor someone. It was all by Lyney's suggestion that it would help him better interact with other, maybe even get him a new friend, or more accurately his first friend. However in Freminet's eyes it's just extra pocket money, he's not at all excited that it requires talking to others, but since it's gonna be him talking about school work it should be easier, after all he knows what's right and what's wrong so he shouldn't have to worry.
Just as his done thinking he collides with something and lands on the ground. Finally reconnecting with reality Freminet looks around seeing that he's just outside the convince store. When he gathers his bearings he notices a hand lent out towards him and a familiar voice, "Woah Hey there are you ok?" Gaming's voice floods his ears but Freminet does his best to ignore the boy standing up without his help.
Once up right Freminet realizes another thing he doesn't have his phone on him patting his pockets he confirms that his phone isn't on him, "Oh this must be yours!" Gaming reaches down again and grabs Freminet's phone off the ground handing it to him.
Calmly taking his phone Freminet says a quick thank you and rushes off into the convince store to get away from Gaming. Once inside Freminet dashes to get the milk and just as soon as he arrives Freminet is gone.

With the turn of his key Freminet enters his home milk in hand. Putting the milk in the fridge Freminet grabs a muffin to eat and goes to his room. Finally inside his room he reaches into his bag and grabs the metal penguin to place him on his desk. Sitting down at the desk Freminet reaches to one of the many books on his desk to immerse himself in.
Like most of his books it's a fantasy story following two heros one reluctant and the other overjoyed about their journey together. Reading through the book Freminet eases his stress before deciding three chapters in to stop and save the rest for later. He then turns his attention towards one of his unfinished projects it's one that he's been forgetting and ignoring for quite some time but ultimately he knows that once he finishes the project he'll be happy with the results.
He can only do a little work before someone knocks on his door and calls out, "Freminet you should start getting ready you have to leave in just 30 minutes." Recognizing Lyney's voice he answers with a yes before getting himself ready.
It honestly doesn't take long to get ready as he just puts together what he thinks is a presentable outfit and makes sure his hair isn't messy. Left to sit alone as he waited he prepared himself for having to go to the person's home. The person's home interests him, even though he's never seen it he knows the house is in the richer part of town so he is interested to see what their house looks like.
And finally after some time he hears Lyney call from downstairs telling him their leaving.
🦁
Gaming never felt like this before, but when he sees those ocean blue eyes he can't help that his stomach flutters. Seeing him across the classroom, in the halls, around town no matter what the place is seeing the blonde's face always makes him just a bit happier. He's never felt this way for a person before but he can't say he hates it, Freminet is just that beautiful.
However Gaming is almost sure that he's been cursed because no matter what happens he can never get close to Freminet. They've sat next to each other at one point, but just the next day the seats were rearranged. Another time he had been assigned to work with Freminet, however, Freminet soon after got sick and so he did all his work from home and they never truly spoke. One of the worst but best moments for him was when he was at work and by pure fortune Freminet opened the door, that was the first time Gaming heard his calming voice clearly, but just as soon as it happened the door was closed and Gaming had to get back to work.
Truthfully the list goes on forever something always comes up or happens that makes it so he can't talk to Freminet. Today once again is an example of this as he had finally built up the courage to talk to Freminet without any incentive. Sadly the moment he arrived to the only place he knew Freminet would be, his last period class, he was swarmed by his friends instantly cutting off his chance to approach the blond as he couldn't find his way through all of them.
So resigning to his fate once again Gaming talks to his friends until the bell rings and they all take a seat preparing for class. Throughout the class Gaming can't help losing focus his eyes wander the class looking at the floor, the roof, the teacher, Freminet, his hands, everywhere.
*<*
The final bells rings and Gaming speeds out of class and towards his locker which is placed near the front of the school so he can just get there and get out very quickly. The only thing that stops him is a few Friends making small talk with him but beyond that he's out of the school within minutes. Even then he's called around by a few people, he greets them and is off speeding towards the nearest convince store to grab a snack before going home.
Because of how much of his time is spent out and about Gaming has built up alot of speed, and so he can reach what for most is a ten minute journey to the convince store within just five minutes. Once he arrives he sees a few employees on break and makes conversation with them, but what he originally planned to be a simple greeting turns into a debate about which candy bar is the best. He only stops talking when he feels someone collides with him, Gaming stays standing as he hears the person fall to the ground behind him.
Turning around he catches sight of familiar blue eyes and his chest flutters like it has many times in the past. Quickly extending a hand towards Freminet Gaming says, "Woah Hey there are you ok?" However Freminet stands up without his help. Once he is standing Freminet seems to notice something and begins patting his pockets, assuming he dropped something Gaming checks the ground and sees a phone.
Picking it up he hands it to Freminet who takes it and says, "Thank you." And just as Gaming's chest flutters the blonde is already inside the convince store away from him. An audible sigh leaves his mouth as once again he loses a chance to talk to the object of his attraction, but still within moments he regains composure. It's the one thing anyone that knows about his crush asks why does he keep trying? He's had this crush since the start of highschool and their already in their third year. The only reason is because he can't let go of the fact that maybe one day he can truly talk with Freminet. Today doesn't seem to be that day as he sees Freminet leaves the convince store with his purchase in hand.

After grabbing his snack and making the lengthy trek to his home Gaming finally goes inside, but unlike how he'd hoped to just go to his room he hears his Father call for him, "Gaming come here." So without a word Gaming heads his father's call and goes to the living room.
"Yeah Dad? What is it?" Gaming answers as he sits down on the couch.
Putting down his tea Yip Tak turns his full attention to Gaming and says, "I've noticed that you grades have been slipping so I have hired you a tutor." A groan quickly falls from Gaming's lips, he can admit that his Grades definitely could be better but still. However his father seems to anticipate this and also says, "To appease you a bit I've hired someone who is your age." This however peaks Gaming's interest as that means instead of basically having another teacher Gaming will be able to at least be comfortable around someone his own age.
"Ok fine when are they going to be here." Gaming questions
Looking at his watch Yip Tak answers, "In just a minute."
Gaming's mouth falls agape as he quickly complains, "Today?! Why didn't you tell me sooner!"
"Because if I did you'd just try to be out of the house at the time they arrive." Gaming knows his father is right but he isn't happy about it. The door bell rings signaling his new tutor's arrival. Both Yip Tak and Gaming go to the door and open it for them, "Hello welcome, Gaming this is Freminet he will be your tutor he will be here every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, please at least behave yourself."
Catching sight of ever familiar ocean blue eyes Gaming can only thank the archons for giving him another chance.
