Jack wheezed as he looked at his phone, wiping tears of laughter from his cheeks. "You guys!" He snickered as he pointed the phone at Aaron and Dave, who were also laughing.
"Jack, stop." Aaron chuckled, supporting his husband with his left arm.
"Tell TikTok what's happening now." Jack grinned, out of breath from laughing.
Dave hiccuped, still holding onto the empty glass. "I've been having such a good day and I didn't know why." He smiled, burying his face into Aaron's shoulder. "I couldn't figure it out, so my husband goes..."
"Honey, what have you been drinking the last two hours?" Aaron bit his lip, holding back laughter as he pressed a kiss to Dave's head.
"First of all, papa, who does nothing but drink lemonade for two hours?"
"People over sixty-five." Aaron smirked as Dave giggled, gazing at him fondly.
"And I said... I said, 'oh, the strawberry lemonade that Penelope left in the fridge' and he says..."
Aaron cackled, slapping a hand over his mouth. "Sweetheart, I watched Emily pour so much vodka into that lemonade, it was more vodka than lemonade."
Jack gasped at that information. "Papa! Did you not taste a difference in the lemonade!?"
"I dunno! I just thought it was a little spicy! So anyway, it's Saturday at one-thirty PM and I'm drunk."
"Oh, my God." Jack shook his head. "We gotta sober you up. I'm gonna make you eggs on toast."
"How do you know the eggs on toast trick?" Aaron asked his son.
"Television." Jack replied after a pause and went to the fridge to retrieve eggs and put them in a pan.
"We'll talk about that later." Aaron nodded decisively, his mouth in a straight line.
"Ok." Jack nodded and placed two pieces of bread in the toaster.
