Chapter 1: Mass Murders
Chapter Text
Elliot watched as Chance was getting chased in front of him. Their current health status didn't look great! Chance was finally able to shake off the killer, they went off chasing after Guest 1337 and Shedletsky.
Chance held their side as they rested against a wall out of breath. Elliot rushed over to them, handing them a pizza.
"Heh, thanks pal!"
They let out a hummed 'yum' as he bit into the pizza.
Elliot decided to stay with Chance for now. Everyone else seemed fine, health wise at least. Resting and restoring his stamina seemed a good decision.
"Chance you should be more careful with that gun" he sighed.
Chance smirked and chuckled, "I know what I'm doing with a gun. Trust me."
"Are you sure...?" Elliot muttered. "I think this is the second time I've seen it blow up on you"
"Okay maybe I don't really know what I'm doing, but hey, at least I'm not dead!"
They shrugged. Chance was still recovering from the last chase, they took another bite out of their pizza.
Elliot playfully rolled his eyes, of course he had no clue what he was doing.
"Well just be more careful with that thing ok? I'm going to go check up on the others"
He walked off to go and find the other survivors, making sure if they had been hit he'd get there in time to heal them.
Chance gave him a lazy salute "Aye, aye."
They let out a sigh and slumped himself down to the floor, he was still exhausted. He was tempted to take a little rest… They didn't plan on moving from their spot on the wall unless necessary. He finished, glancing to see if the killer was nearby.
Chance heard faint footsteps in the grass. He held his breath, trying to figure out where they were coming from. They had hoped if it was the killer they wouldn't hear him.
Unlikely for Chance though, you weren't able to escape Mafioso's gaze.
"Aha! That's where you went" He teased, walking up to him slowly.
He knew there was no need to run. Chance was still recovering and there was no way he had reloaded by now. Chance's eyes darted to the side, he watched as the Mafioso approached them with a smirk, like a predator toying with his prey. Chance knew that he was in a vulnerable position at the moment, still trying to catch his breath.
"What, you were looking for me?" he asked, trying to sound nonchalant but his breathing betrayed him.
"Not you to be exact"
He stood towering in front of him, before bending down to his level. He smirked, lifting up Chance's chin to force him to look at him.
"But assuming you're feeling better you've had a recent interaction with Elliot . Am I correct?"
Chance felt a shiver run down his spine as the mafioso grasped his chin, forcing him to meet his gaze. The grip wasn't tight enough to be painful, but it was firm enough to make him feel even more vulnerable.
He shifted as he replied, "Yeah...yeah I've talked to Elliot."
Mafioso slid his grip down to his neck. He lifted Chance against the wall, his small bunny tail wagging as he stared into Chance's eyes.
"Well well, where may he have gone off to.. if you don't mind me asking?"
Chance let out a small gasp as Mafioso lifted him up against the wall. His heart pounded in his chest as he felt the cold wall press against his back. He couldn't help but shiver as Mafioso's grip tightened around his neck, his bunny tail flicking in excitement.
"I-I don't know where he went," he stuttered, his voice coming out in a strangled breath. "He went to check on the other survivors."
Mafioso's frowned. His ears flopped down as he stared into Chance's eyes.
"You really aren't any help are you?" He snarled in annoyance.
His grip tightening his grip around their neck, as his claws began to dig into the flesh. Chance let out a choked gasp as Mafioso's grip on his neck tightened even more, his claws digging into his flesh. The feeling was excruciating, and he desperately clawed at the hand to try and get it to release him.
"I...I told you, I don't know where he went!" he managed to croak out through clenched teeth, his eyes tearing up as he struggled to breathe.
"See you later~" Mafioso said gently, breaking his neck.
He threw over the body, as his tail flicked. Chance's body hit the ground with a thud, his once lively figure now lying still and motionless. No one was nearby to witness his murder, so the area remained eerily silent. The only sound was the faint sound of Mafioso's footsteps and a walkie talkie as he walked away.
The goons nodded in understanding, absorbing their mafia boss' instructions. They were given enough detail on what Elliot looked like, making it easier for them to identify him among the group of survivors.
"Got it, no harm to Elliot," they confirmed.
"Good, now go on," he said sternly.
He stomped off, going to find some of the other survivors. His claws begging to dig into another person's skin. His ears pricked up as he listened for any slight movement.
Any running, walking, breathing. A movement that would alert him to a location where he could hurt another.
As Mafioso made his way through the area, he kept his senses sharp, listening for any signs of life. The forest remained mostly still and quiet, but after a few minutes he heard a faint rustling sound in the distance.
Mafioso's ears perked up at the noise, his eyes narrowing slightly as he turned to where the sound was coming. His tail slowly flicked behind him in anticipation.
Mafioso's eyes darted around until he found the source of the noise.
He got his feet in a bent position, as he leaped over to whatever the sound was. Tumbling down with whatever survivor had the unfortunate person who had gotten his attention.
Noob let out a stifled cry, trying to fight back, but their efforts were no match for the strength of the Mafioso. He easily overpowered them, pinning them to the ground under his weight.
"Shh sh.. Be quiet, you survivors are so annoying when you're noisy" Mafioso huffed.
His claws dug deep into Noob's neck, pressing his weight down onto the weak survivor.
Noob struggled hard beneath Mafioso's weight, his arms flailing wildly to try and break free. His attempts to call for help came out as strangled gasps, his vocal cords crushed under the pressure.
Mafioso heard a man running next to him, turning to see what the noise was, only to be met face to face with Guest 1337 fist.
A loud groan came from him as he recoiled back, holding his face. He watched as Noob and Guest 1337 disappeared into the distance, leaving him with a bloody nose and a bruised ego.
Mafioso grumbled in annoyance, his frustration growing. He hated when things didn't go according to plan, and this unforeseen attack had thrown him off.
Mafioso got back up on his feet, clutching his fist in anger. He stomped his feet, as his ear twitched angrily.
He stormed off in the general direction he saw the two survivors go in. Mafioso continued to run through the forest, his anger boiling inside of him. He was determined to find those two survivors and make them pay for their insolence.
He could make out the sounds of their footsteps in the distance, growing closer and closer as he chased after them with a furious determination.
Mafioso caught a glimpse of blue in the corner of his eye. He went off and chased it, seeing Guest 1337. He ran faster to catch up to him, throwing a white bunny at him and damaging him.
Guest 1337 ducked to avoid the speeding bunny, but was still slightly grazed by it, causing them to stumble and trip. They scrambled to get back on their feet, hearing the footsteps of a rapidly approaching Mafioso.
Mafioso caught up to him, kicking him with his powerful kick. His tail wagged watching his body hit a nearby wall pretty hard.
His eyes gleamed with joy as he slowly walked over to him. Wanting to prolong the death and make it fun for him.
Then out of the blue Elliot showed up. Mafioso's ears stuck right up, his tail wagging in excitement as he watched him.
Elliot grumbled, feeding Guest 1337 pizza as they both began to run. Elliot hid behind a wall, looking up and seeing Mafioso going to chase Guest 1337 again. He noticed how the tall bunny man ignored him... weird?
Elliot watched in confusion as Mafioso chased after Guest 1337, completely disregarding him. He couldn't shake the feeling that something was off, but he wasn't sure what it was.
Taking this chance to his advantage, Elliot cautiously poked his head out from behind the wall, carefully observing the area for any other survivors or nearby threats.
Elliot's heart skipped a beat as Mafioso's gaze turned towards them. He tried to hide behind a nearby wall, but it was too late. Mafioso had spotted him.
The bunny man waved at Elliot with a sly smirk, licking the blood off his face. It was a menacing sight, but also intriguing. Why wasn't he attacking him?
He began to run up to Elliot, cheerfully. His ears bounced behind him, as his tail wagged playfully.
He was almost frozen in shock Elliot before he was stabbed in the back. Mafioso's face grimaced as he turned around to see Two Time. His body language turned from relaxed(it seemed) to tense and pissed as he chased Two Time.
Elliot watched as Two Time intervened, stabbing Mafioso in the back. The bunny man's previously playful expression suddenly turned into a tense and hostile one as he turned around to chase after Two Time.
Elliot felt a mixture of relief and curiosity. Why was Mafioso so intent on chasing down Two Time? And why had he been acting so friendly towards him just moments ago?
Mafioso took his sword out, slashing Two Time. The pain of the hit earned a small pain 'yelp' from Two Time as they continued to run.
He was quickly catching up to the survivor, and just as he was about to plunge the sword into Two Time he had teleported away. Mafioso angrily huffed as his sword dug into the grass.
"Great.. now that damn bastard is on his second life. At least they'll be easier to get rid of now" Mafioso thought.
Mafioso heard a scream from a survivor off in the distance, probably getting hit by a goon. His ear twitched as he rushed off in that direction.
Elliot watched as Mafioso chased down Two Time, but the survivor managed to escape just in time. The bunny man huffed in frustration, but quickly became distracted by another scream in the distance.
Elliot followed discreetly behind him, taking note of how the scream was from another survivor getting hit by one the goons. Mafioso moved quickly towards the direction of the scream, his focus now centered on another target.
Though Elliot's curiosity told him to go stay back in the shadows and check out what Mafioso planned on doing, he had other people that were in trouble. Who needed his help. He decided to go follow the scream for a different reason, to make sure whoever the survivor was that they would have a chance to live against Mafioso.
He knew that the quicker he got to the survivor, the greater their chance of survival. With determination, he picked up his pace, hoping to intercept Mafioso before it was too late.
Mafioso hadn't noticed Elliot leaving his hidden spot before seeing him next to Taph. Elliot handed Taph a pizza, reacting grateful in his weird emoji way.
Mafioso gave chase to the two survivors that ran off. He noticed Elliot falling slightly behind. He nudged the pizza boy out the way as he continued his chase against Taph. Elliot watched them run around a corner before standing there and thinking.
He was the more favorable chase.. why did he go after Taph? What the hell was happening. He shook his head, trying to focus on helping the survivors and keeping them alive. He had to put aside his confusion and focus on the task at hand. However, he couldn't help but wonder what was going through the mind of Mafioso, who seemed to have a strange fixation with him.
A few of the other survivors met up with Elliot. Dusekkar and Builderman stay near him as he told them what he'd seen so far. Leaving out the parts where it seemed Mafioso was favoriting him though, the parts where he had decided to leave him alone.
Off in the distance They watched as Taph and now Shedletsky were being pursued by Mafioso. Shedletsky was able to hit him right before Taph threw a subspace tripmine at him. The light from the explosion and stab stunned him long enough for both of them to escape.
Both Dusekkar and Elliot decided to off and help them, to go make sure they weren't terribly hurt. They waved Builderman goodbye as they left.
Chapter 2: Hehe
Chapter Text
As the round neared its end, only a few survivors were still alive, including Elliot and Dusekkar. They had managed to evade the killer and escape the game so far, but the constant tension was still in the air.
The two of them stuck together, knowing they had a better chance of survival if they worked as a team. They roamed the area together, careful to remain quiet and not attract attention.
Mafioso quickly caught sight of both of them. Mafioso jumped on Dusekkar from behind, knocking him down. He grabbed him by the neck, standing up and throwing him away from the current scene. He intensely followed behind the now very injured Dusekkar, Elliot standing there shocked.
Elliot watched in horror as Mafioso ambushed Dussekar and began to pursue him relentlessly. The injured survivor put up a fight, but it was clear that he was no match for the bunny man's strength.
A fear forced him to stay there frozen, shocked by the brutal attack. He knew he had to do something, but his mind felt like it was racing at a hundred miles an hour. He was torn between trying to help Dussekar or trying to escape himself.
As Dusekkar went to turn and stun Mafioso with his staff he was met with a gashing wound in his chest. The injury was too much for Dusekkar to survive through, so Mafioso smirked as he watched the pumpkin bleed out on the grass.
His ears twitched as he looked over to Elliot, a smile on his face. He slowly began to walk over to him, his tail wagging soft as he grew closer to Elliot. Elliot stood there, his heart pounding in his chest as Mafioso slowly made his way over to him. Fear and confusion filled his thoughts as he tried to process what had just happened.
Dussekar's lifeless body lay on the ground nearby, the blood staining the grass around him. Elliot felt guilty and scared, knowing that his friend had been killed right in front of him. He took a small step back as Mafioso came closer, still unsure of what to do or how to react.
"Don't run," Mafioso said sternly.
Elliot flinched at Mafioso's words, his heart skipping a beat. The tone in his voice left no room for argument, and he found himself frozen in fear. Slowly, he nodded his head, trying to show that he would not try to run. He kept his eyes fixed on the killer in front of him, trying to gauge what his intentions were.
Mafioso smiled as he came up to Elliot, he towered over him as he stared down at him. He slipped his hands under Elliot's arms and picked him up.
His tail wagged face and he brought Elliott close to him, nuzzling his cheek against Elliot's.
Elliot felt a mixture of confusion and horror as Mafioso picked him up with ease, bringing him close to the bunny man's chest. He could feel the warmth of his body, the strength in his arms as he was held tightly. Mafioso nuzzled his cheek against his, a gesture that seemed almost affectionate.
He couldn't help but shiver slightly at the contact, feeling vulnerable and exposed. He wasn't sure if this was a sign of affection or a warning. Or maybe a little of both. Elliot blinked, spawning back in the cabin. He looked at his fellow survivors talking to each other, before looking back down to himself.
"What did that mean? Why didn't he hurt me at all, why was he protecting me from harm's way?!" Elliot thought, beginning to spiral.
Chance got up to him and began to talk to him, he began to slowly calm down. Though his thoughts still stuck around in the back of his mind.
