Echoes of a Climax

Summary:

During practice, Tina claims she thinks the practice room is haunted. She then produces a blacklight, and proceeds to misunderstand everything that Lilisa and Otoha had done in the practice room. Will Lilisa survive this embarrassment, as Tina claims the various blacklight stains could be the work of a serial killer?

Otoha has a great time.

Work Text:

“E-everyone! Come here, quick!” Tina called out to the others. They were setting their instruments up for practice in the abandoned classroom, with all four band members present. Lilisa quickly jogged over and looked at the tall blue-haired keyboardist.

“What is it?! Did you find something?!” Lilisa asked, glancing around to see nothing but empty desks and the hardwood floor beneath them.

Tina’s eyes wobbled in shock as she knelt down to the ground.

“I…I think this room is haunteeeeeeeeeed!” Tina squealed. Lilisa’s face slowly sagged as she tried to process what they had just been told.

Otoha’s face lit up as she looked over from her drum kit.

“Ghosts?! What makes you think that, Tina?” Otoha asked with excitement. Tamaki let out an annoyed ‘tch’ as she continued to tune her bass.

Tina reached into her pocket, and produced a strange cylindrical device with a switch on top.

“You see, I have been trying to come to this room and practice at night. But sometimes…I hear wailing as soon as I enter the schoolhouse! I-I run away immediately, but find nothing when I come back in the morning. S-so I brought this to look for any evidence of murder! Blood shows up on blacklight, you see.” Tina explained.

Lilisa’s face slowly began to turn red as she looked to the side in confusion. “I-I see…t-that’s surprising alright…wailing, huh?” Lilisa began to slowly scratch the back of her head. Otoha’s face lit up brighter as she stood up and leaned against the drum kit.

“Right?! So I scanned this room with a blacklight, and look at this!” Tina ran over to the light switch, and flicked it off. She then turned on the blacklight, and half the room lit up with various patterns. Various splatters on the floor, across desks, and drops where the four of them usually played their instruments.

“See?! There’s blood up front, there are trails on the desks, on the floor, and even here in the back!” Tina ran over to the back wall and showed the various markings that lit up. “Is something wrong, Suzunomiya-san?” Tina asked, looking at how Lilisa was turning away from the room and looking straight at the chalkboard.

“I…ah…I don’t do well with blood, ya see! Don’t mind me!” Lilisa waved her hand dismissively. She glanced at Otoha, who was admiring all the spots in the room that lit up. Lilisa stomped up to the drumset and furiously whispered.

“Don’t…tell…her…anything! She’s way too fucking pure to hear the truth!” Lilisa seethed. Otoha closed her eyes and smiled brightly as she clasped her hands together.

“Aw, are you not proud of the art we made in our collaborations, Lily?” Otoha asked sweetly. Lilisa pressed her hands onto the sides of a drum and leaned forward, fire radiating off her massive twintails.

“And if you want to continue making this art, shut your mouth, you Banksy piece of shit!” Lilisa seethed. Tamaki glared as she saw all the spots that lit up in the room.

“You disgust me, Otoha. Doing an act that intimate with a lesser girl. It’s beneath you.” She grumbled.

“Yes, she was!” Otoha quietly declared, making Tamaki’s jaw open and Lilisa to fall backward in shock, crashing against a desk.

Tina watched from across the room, holding her UV light to a nearby wall.

“U-um…that’s ok Suzunomiya-san. I’m a little scared of blood too…but this is important! We could be in danger here!” Tina declared. She then made her way to a nearby desk.

“Look here! I think someone was murdered on this desk!” Tina showed a large glowing stain at the edge of the desk, which dripped down to the floor below.

“And there are similar stains on the desks over here, here, here…” Tina shone the light to nearby desks, Lilisa taking more psychic damage with each word. She was facing the chalkboard again, hiding her face in her hands.

Tina cocked her head slightly in confusion, then cast her eyes downward.

“S-sorry, Suzunomiya-san…these blood stains seem to be from different days. We could have a serial killer on the loose! But wait, there’s more that I found that’s even scarier! B-but it’s not blood, so you can look again, Suzunomiya-san!” Tina explained as she turned the lights back on.

She made her way to the back wall, and flung open the cabinet. She then shone her blacklight into the empty space, and several fingerprints were found.

“I looked in here as well, and found what appeared to be someone messing with the back wall. So I pressed it like this, and…” Tina pressed the back wall, and it turned inward to reveal a hidden storage space behind. Lilisa’s heart dropped as Tina leaned in and began digging into the cabinet.

“Oh no…she found THAT?!” Lilisa whispered to Otoha, who seemed more excited than ever. Stars glittered in her eyes as she watched Tina pull out a length of chain with a yellow collar at the end.

“Look at this! The killer must use this to chain up their victims, and torture them! What a sadistic freak, using a cute collar as they murder their victims…” Tina looked at the yellow collar at the end. Otoha’s face lit up again as she glanced at Lilisa, who tugged at her own shirt collar.

“I’m dying…I’m dying over here…help me, Tamakiiiiii!” Lilisa gave pleading eyes to their bassist. Tamaki shook her head and glared at Lilisa.

“You caused this mess. Now deal with it.” She said curtly. Otoha beamed as she jumped in.

“Of course, Lily. We made this bed, and laid in it!” She said sweetly. Lilisa’s soul was slowly leaving her body as Tina reached back into the cabinet, and produced a riding crop.

“And look at this! It has the school insignia on the side, so the killer must be a student here! I never knew a prestigious school like this would produce a killer…” Tina said softly, patting the end of the crop against her hand. “They must torture their victims with this…how cruel…”

Lilisa shoved her hand in front of her mouth and muffled her squeal of embarrassment, which seemed to only delight Otoha further.

“And that’s not all! There’s handcuffs…” Tina produced multiple pairs of handcuffs with black fuzzy material on the inside. “Rope…” She tossed a length of rope onto the floor. “And even a whip!” She pulled out a long, thin rope from the storage. Tamaki lowered her eyebrow slightly when she saw it.

“This little runt can handle that?” She asked. Otoha rested her hand against her cheek in delight.

“I just crack it against the desks to make her flinch. Lily’s so cute when she’s afraid~” Otoha reminisced. Lilisa stomped forward and jammed her finger against Otoha’s other cheek.

“Shut the hell up, or I’m going to fuck you with that god damn whip’s handle!” Lilisa grumbled. Otoha patted Lilisa on top of the head.

“You’re so cute when you’re mad, Lily~” Otoha sang.

Tina then piped up once more. “And there’s one last thing I found back there! Look at this!”

She then revealed a two-piece leather outfit with leather boots, which finally made Lilisa fall to the floor behind the teacher’s desk in embarrassment. Tina’s eyes widened.

“S-Suzunomiya-san! Are you ok?! Is this all too scary for you?!” Tina asked, hand to her mouth in shock. Lilisa held up a thumbs up from the floor.

“Yeah…so scary…I’m terrified…is it almost over…?” She managed to say from her near death state.

Tina nodded her head. “Y-yeah, we’re near the end alright…”

“We’re nearing the climax, Lily! Just hold on a little more, and it'll all be released~” Otoha chirped. Tamaki looked away in disgust.

“It should have been me…” She grumbled.

Tina cocked her head in confusion, then held out the outfit again.

“W-well…this looks like a restraint device! Nobody could move well in an outfit like this! They must have used this to keep people still, and along with the collar…nobody could break out! I say we need to investigate this killer before we…encounter them!” Tina suggested.

Otoha pressed the tips of her fingers together as she looked at Tina brightly.

“That’s masterful detective work, Tina. You might have saved us all from a killer ghost. I’m so proud of you. Right Lily?” Otoha asked, reaching down and pulling Lilisa into her lap. She then raised Lilisa’s arms up like a puppet.

“That’s right, senpai. You saved all of us! I’m so proud you’re in this band with us! Of course, I’ll always be second to my dearest Otoha!” Otoha said in a deep voice, acting like Lilisa was talking.

Suddenly, Tamaki loudly walked across the room, her heels clacking against the floor. She threw open the door, and looked at the two with icy eyes.

“I’m not dealing with this today. Call me when you’re serious again.” And with that, Tamaki slammed the door behind her. Tina looked at the door, tears slowly welling up at the edges of her eyes and she hid behind her plushie.

“Oh no, did Tina do something wrong?!” She acted out the plushie’s voice.

Otoha put on the fake Lilisa voice and moved Lilisa’s arms again.

“Oh no, Tina. You did an amazing job! I’m so proud of you! But I think this is too dangerous for you and Tamaki. Why don’t you let big sis Otoha and Lily take care of it, ho ho hoh?” Otoha replied.

Tina’s eyes lit up with joy. “Y-you believe me? Really? I’m so happy! Well if Tamaki left, we’re not going to practice…so I’ll play at home today! Thank you so much for believing in me, senpais!” Tina said with joy, following Tamaki out the door.

But before Lilisa could relax, the door flung open again and Tina looked directly at Otoha.

"I nearly forgot! I also found blood on your drumsticks, Kurogane-san! The killer must have used them to impale people, since I only saw a reaction on the tips..." She reported.

Otoha gave a polite smile and nodded her head. "Thank you for the update. Have a nice day, Tina~." With a final wave, the door slammed shut.

Lilisa let out a sigh of relief as the door closed. Otoha checked her phone, and sure enough, her scout reported that both members had now left the abandoned schoolhouse. Otoha tightened her grip around Lilisa, who was still sitting in her lap.

“I can’t believe she found that god damn cabinet. You’re so careless!” Lilisa yelled. Otoha let out a soft squeal.

“The look on your face was worth every second, Lily. I’m so happy you could be the paint for this canvas of a classroom~.” Otoha replied.

Before Lilisa could reply though, she felt a hand slowly run up her skirt to loop the side of her underwear, Otoha’s face near her ear.

“Now…what was that about you and my whip? I’m going to have to punish you for that.” Otoha whispered.

Lilisa shot her a glare and grabbed the front of Otoha’s shirt.

“And I am finally going to show you how much of bitch you are! I’m done being the bottom!” Lilisa yelled out.

Throughout that evening, the ghostly wails were contained within the schoolhouse. Tina was self-assured that the killer was being dealt with by two delicate, capable hands.

Notes:

Thanks for reading! I finished watching the last Rock Lady episode, and thought Tina was too pure for the band. So what would she think if she got this gross misunderstanding?
