   What if..
   When Jason head out to track the Joker, Dick’s hell-bent on getting there first. What if Dick makes sure Jason goes to the wrong place while he goes off to fight the Joker?

   Part of him knew that since he was the son of Batman, he should be used to the dark. He’d worked and fought in the dark for years, used the shadows to hide his every move, but he couldn’t help but feel like this was different.

   Like it was wrong. Like he shouldn’t be here.

   He stamped down on his anxieties. This was nothing but a childish fear, and his gut feeling meant nothing. Batman had taught him to rely on the logical, not the illogical. And certainly not gut feeling.
