He’d never known quite what to expect. Nobody did. For his family, it was a little bit different to most, due to the influence of the Crystal and its magic. It was known that the souls of his forefathers could be called upon in times of crisis, so he knew that there was something after death. But the souls of his ancestors hadn’t exactly been talkative. They hadn’t explained what was next, or what it was like.
