Before meeting Wukong, Yang Jian had never laughed.
Xiaotian managed to get a chuckle out of him every now and then, but he had never truly laughed or felt overjoyed until meeting Wukong.
He had laughed when he saw the little stone monkey standing there defiantly, confident of his victory against all of the celestial armies. His little grin, his arrogant stance, his high pitched voice shouting that he was the Great Sage Equal to Heaven.
All the other immortals had looked at this “monster” with disdain. With hatred. Everyone wanted him dead and gone.
But Yang Jian had been fascinated. Mesmerized by the way Sun Wukong refused to give in. Entranced by the many battles he got to witness through their looking glass mirror.
When he fought, Sun Wukong looked so graceful, like he was dancing.
That smirk, that bolstering laugh. And that glorious golden armor that fitted him so perfectly. His elegant waist snatched and his lithe body soaring in the air.
His “outrageous” personality had attracted Yang Jian. And then his appearance had drawn him even further in.
He was the most gorgeous being Yang Jian had ever seen.
When at long last his uncle sent for him to fight this “Yao Guai” he had tried to suppress his own giddiness. His uncle had even paid him to subdue Sun Wukong.
He couldn’t have been more excited than if he had been ordered to kill his uncle!
The stone monkey was even more magnificent in real life than on the mirror screen.
He hadn’t noticed the eye markings on the screen for instance. Such lovely golden eyelids. Natural phoenix shaped eyes with red tips. Those shiny brown orbs looked him up and down, assessing his worth. It sent shivers down his spine.
When they exchanged words and fought it was a dream come true. It was better than he had expected. He had never experienced such a wonderful match in his life!!
Until that old bastard LaoJun interrupted them.
He had almost attacked the old immortal on the spot. When those stupid guards went to chain Sun Wukong up and forced a muzzle on him, he had wanted to rip them all to shreds.
But he was aware of the consequences. And restrained himself.
He was so pleased when he saw that Wukong not only didn’t cower after “losing” but held his head up even higher.
When Wukong turned his head towards, the stone monkey ripped his muzzle off and announced, “Out of everyone here, Erlang Shen, you are the only one I deem worthy of my respect. Everyone else is a shallow, selfish motherf*cker!! All of you b*tches can kiss my *ss before I submit to you!!”
Yang Jian hopes he wasn’t blushing. That was the sexiest, most attractive thing he had ever seen anyone do. Was he high??
After the initial attempts at killing Wukong failed (not to his surprise) everyone goes back home to brainstorm other methods of ending his life.
Yang Jian goes back home and lies on his bed, screaming into his pillow.
Oooohhhhh that Sun Wukong!!
He had never felt such pain yet joy before. No one had ever stolen his heart.
But he was gone. He was so in love.
“Oh Xiaotian, what am I gonna do?? How can I win him over??”
Xiaotian transforms into his human form and obediently sits on the bed, listening to his master’s lovesick rants about “Sun Wukong this” and “Sun Wukong that”.
Xiaotian points out that he has only met the monkey ONCE. One interaction.
Yang Jian tells him that’s not important. The important matter is how he was going to win Wukong’s heart.
Xiaotian points out that they were currently TRYING TO KILL SUN WUKONG and Yang Jian deflates.
“Oh no, what if he hates me?? Cause I’m an immortal! Should I also rebel against the celestial realm? I’ve been wanting to for centuries already!”
Xiaotian tells him to sit down and stop that nonsense. Also, he glances around to make sure nobody heard that. Such talk was treason.
“Master, don't be so rash. You’ll have a chance to be with him again, I’m sure.”
Yang Jian nods and agrees. It’s not like anyone could actually kill Wukong.
He believed the stone monkey could do anything.
Yang Jian became a bit worried when he heard that Wukong was still inside of Laojun’s furnace. It had already been 49 days.
Did…did Sun Wukong actually die?? There was NO WAY!!
But he goes in disguise to check on the situation anyways. Just to be sure.
When Wukong leaps out of the furnace with bloody red eyes and a half charred body, Yang Jian felt his heart skip a beat.
Oh just look at how hot he looks as he whips his staff out and smacks LaoJun in the face. Yang Jian felt so excited when he saw Wukong easily defeating all of the armed forces trying to subdue him again.
It was not fun when Buddha trapped Wukong down in a mountain.
Yang Jian goes to visit him sometimes during the 500 years of imprisonment.
To prevent anyone from finding out who he was, he went in different forms.
Sometimes he was a young child. Other times a maiden. Occasionally, elderly people.
He got to converse with Wukong in this way and found out more about him.
Even his backstory was amazingly chaotic. From his birth, to his current predicament, Sun Wukong’s life was full of surprises.
Wukong also asked about where he came from. The monkey had asked that to every different form he came in and Yang Jian simply made up a different story every time.
The stone monkey would nod and was actually a really good listener. He would remember everything Yang Jian told him while eating the food Yang Jian would bring him.
While eating and drinking, Sun Wukong looked SO CUTE!! The little munching noises he made and the cute little noises he emitted occasionally were ADORABLE.
When Yang Jian fed him the food, he didn’t know why he was so happy. Guess this was why mortals liked to feed animals food. It was a delight.
When Wukong bursted out of the mountain Yang Jian had wanted to go down and confess on the spot. However, they couldn’t interrupt the journey in place by Buddha. Only the designated moments were allowed.
When it came time for Bibotan, Yang Jian had never gotten ready so fast. He had never looked better. His Meishan brothers were stunned by how nicely he displayed himself.
Some of them even blushed and joked, “Brother, we’re going hunting, not going to find a woman.”
Yang Jian replied that they might not be, but he had other plans. They were confused but didn’t ask any more questions.
He was disappointed when it was Bajie who greeted them. But he was overjoyed when he heard that Wukong was waiting for them.
He hopes he made a good second impression. The first time, they had been enemies after all and he had been terrified that Wukong thought of him as such.
When Wukong beamed at him and bashfully requested for their assistance, Yang Jian couldn’t have felt more relieved. And even more in LOVE.
The arrogant side of Wukong was so powerfully attractive but the shyer, mellower side was so endearing! So sweet!!
He intentionally fails to capture the monster the first try so that he could stay with Wukong for just a bit longer. Thankfully, no one realized.
It was paradise when Wukong invited him to have a private chat with him that night. The stone monkey had been half drunk, rubbing affectionately against Yang Jian and saying half incoherent phrases.
Yang Jian had selfishly taken advantage of the situation to hug Wukong against him and even kissed him on the cheek, enjoying the feeling of being so close to Wukong. His fur was so soft and his body had relaxed into mush, resting against Yang Jian’s chest.
Wukong had giggled at this affectionate gesture and turned around with Yang Jian arms around his back, the monkey’s face towards Yang Jian’s own.
Wukong had gazed at him with half lidded eyes, a blushing red face, and a dopey grin. He went to the side of Yang Jian’s ear and in a hushed voice said, “You’re so beautiful, brother. I could ravish you tonight.”
And then Sun Wukong kisses him on the lips.
Yang Jian had felt a wave of euphoric energy rush through his entire being from his head to his toes.
He attacks Wukong in a kind of dazed state with unrestrained excitement, biting and sucking and licking and kissing him until he snaps out of his reverie.
He glances down at the gorgeous monkey, who was half naked and half asleep underneath him, whimpering a bit from the viscous attacks that he had planted on him.
Yang Jian had never felt so turned on.
But he couldn’t!! What was he doing, taking advantage of Wukong like this?!
Even if technically, Wukong was the one at fault for tempting him and luring him to do this to him…
No, no, no he couldn’t think like this!! What was he, a lowlife pervert?!
“I’m sorry, my love. Go to sleep now…” Yang Jian pulls some layers over Wukong and dresses him in his clothes again. He didn’t even realize when he had ripped them off of Wukong and he felt guilty.
He intentionally told Wukong that he should visit him after the journey was over after (easily) vanquishing the Yao Guai.. He still owed Yang Jian a favor for helping him this time after all.
Wukong agreed to and was very serious about repaying debts.
Such an honorable monkey…Yang Jian had sighed.
….
“What are you thinking about, Yang Jian?” Wukong asked, curious.
Yang Jian smiles and chuckles, “Nothing much, darling. Just remembering something wonderful.”
“What is it? Tell me!” Wukong smiled with interest and demanded.
But Yang Jian only shook his head and kissed Wukong on the forehead. Yang Jian hugs his husband in closer as they laid together contently on the bed, happily united and eventually drifting off to sleep.
