“I wish to learn swordsmanship.” Wilbur had muddled over his feelings while staying awake at night. When he’d paced the floors and written his thoughts, his brothers slept peacefully on his bed.
By sunrise, his thoughts and goals were clear: he was jealous.
Not of his brother per se, no he was not ready to admit that. Rather, he was jealous of his skill. Wilbur had access to any teacher in the kingdom and he was seeing the effects of refusing every one of them.

It was all fake. It was all lies.
Wilbur remembered why he’d stopped in the first place, as it had felt akin to roleplay rather than a lesson.
In his room, Wilbur began plotting. If he couldn’t make use of the teachers here, he’d simply have to find a teacher elsewhere.
Or. His adopted brother Techno, could knock the palace’s commander to the floor. Wilbur, born and raised in the palace, could barely hold a sword, and he was determined to become just as strong as his brother
