“Dude you gotta stop talking to her!” Robbie told me while pushing me playfully.
“Why if I love her so much” I responded.
“Hikaru, I swear if you don’t stop talking to her something bad will happen.” Robbie said seriously.
“Nothing bad will happen by talking to her relax.” I respond while crossing the street without looking both ways.
All a sudden a truck appeared and almost hit me, but it stopped just short of hitting me.
“Well, that was anticlimactic” I said before busting out laughing. I really thought I was about to die but the way was so funny.
“You got lucky make sure you look both ways before crossing dimwit” Robbie said before smacking me on the back of the head.
“Alright dude but we’re going to watch Bleach later, right?” I asked.
“Yeah, can’t miss out on TYBW my guy!”
“Bye!” I wave at him before starting to walk away.
I’m a 24-year-old loser who’s kind of a nerd. I mean if you look at the facts reading, writing, and watching anime being some of my main hobbies. I’m a virgin but not for long! I’ve met one of the most amazing women ever to exist. Her name is Amelia, and she is adorable. Her curls along with her gentle smile make my day from just one glance. But other than that, I have nothing going for me.
As soon as I arrived home, I had a sudden sense of tingling like Spidey senses. Suddenly a sandal flew at my head and I narrowly dodged.
“Why don’t you have a job, yet you bum!!!!” My mom greeted me warmly at the door.
“Thanks for the warm welcome mom but to answer your question its hard getting a job in this economy.” I said with slight sarcasm leaking from my voice causing my mom to look at me with malice. Before she could get another word in, I ran to my room and locked the door and sighed.
I turned on my PS5 and sat down on my chair and put my headphones on for a short game session. “Yo dude we hopping on GTA online?” I said in my mic before breathing into it.
“Yeah, we are but I kind of want to watch Bleach first let's watch it for a bit.” Robbie said.
We start to watch Bleach and saw that Ishida beat Renji and his Quincy cross showed.
“What Helig Bogen do you think you would have if you were a Quincy?” I asked Robbie curious since the bows of the Quincies could be literally any projectile shooter.
“I would probably be stuck with some lame slingshot or something to be honest,” Robbie states earnestly before asking me “What about you what Heilig Bogen would you have?”
“In all honesty I kind of want to have a Heilig Bogen which can transform into any weapon I want it to” I responded just picturing the possibilities of something like that.
“That would be cool to see in Bleach but I’m pretty sure your Heilig Bogen has to be one distinct shape which can’t transform into any other since it reflects your soul.” Robbie responded but all I could see was the nerd emoji appearing while he was speaking.
After a few hours of watching Bleach, it was late and we couldn’t really game, so we got off after saying bye. I looked up at the ceiling before slightly glancing out my window and seeing a shooting star. I closed my blinds and went to sleep.
As soon as I woke up, I started stretching and cooked myself some eggs nothing too special. I then showered while humming the Hunter x Hunter theme song as it’s quite the catchy song. After heading out of the shower I brushed my teeth and went outside for a quick jog. The nearest store had a sale on watermelon, and I decided to go buy some for my mom but then some men with ski masks on started to rob the store.
“EVERYBODY PUT YOUR FUCKING HANDS UP AND GIVE ME YOUR WALLET” They screamed while shooting a few tests shots to let people know they weren’t playing. Against my own judgement I decided it was time to step up and attempt to stop them. (Stupid idea I know)
“HALT! Fiends leave this store at once or else I will have to subdue you myself!” I stated with my chest out and one hand out as if I was a protagonist in some show or story.
Without a second thought one of them pointed their gun at me but the main guy stopped him. For a second I thought they would listen but then a bullet went straight through my heart. My vision blurred. Black dots danced in my eyes. My breath slowly fading as I fade into darkness...
I opened my eyes to find myself in a crib and small. I tried speaking just to realize that my voice couldn’t come out and that I was in fact a baby.
“I know I joked about this earlier but there’s no way I was reborn into some random place now, right?” I thought to myself.
Suddenly a voice in my head began to speak. “Welcome master to this new world which you have found yourself reborn in. I am your assistant and will attempt to help you throughout your journey by giving you quests and in exchange for these quests you will gain powers ranging from a boost in strength, defense, or durability all the way to an increase in everything including the power system of this world. Welcome to this world of hunters but you would know it as the world of Hunter x Hunter!”
