Whale Island has never felt so small and isolated as right then, standing next to Aunt Mito’s letterbox holding a postcard from someone he’s suddenly not sure he’ll see again for a very long time.
After parting with Killua at the World Tree, Gon returns to Whale Island, weighed down with regrets. Sporadic postcards from afar are now his only connection to his best friend, fragile threads stretching across the vast distance as he tries to untangle what Killua truly means to him. As he drifts in the ache of separation and an uncertain future, darkness stirs on the horizon and threatens to draw them back together - whether they are ready or not.
My attempt to fill in the gaps for Gon and Killua between the World Tree and the Black Whale, with some creative liberties taken!

And, just maybe, a home for Killua and Gon to share too, although Killua’s never quite sure if that’s what’s implied.
To guide them on a mission unlike any they’ve completed before, the boys decide to visit the homes of a few of their old friends, scattered far and wide throughout the known continents. New and old truths are discovered in where and how they live.

To combat the growing Chimera Ant threat, Hunter Association has gathered a team to exterminate them, although their best Hunters must also prevent new monsters from being unleashed.
When two worlds, one rife with violence and wrath, and another full of love and lust, what will happen? Who will survive? Will there even be any victors? Will the flowers of war bloom once again?

Summary
Morel Mackernasey runs a mechanic shop and PI firm in the human realm. He also serves as a Knight of the Summer Court because as a half human, he can go places and do things full blood fae cannot. His life is simple, or at least as simple as it can be given his heritage and line of work.
And then he gets a visit from a new Knight of the Winter Court, Knov Galkin, who inherited the title upon the death of his half brother Arkady. One of the many problems? Someone murdered Arkady, and Knov needs to figure out who before they come after him. The other Knights of the Winter Court won't help him and Knov's father sees it as a means for him to prove his worth as a new Knight. So he's come to a Knight of the opposite court in hopes Morel will help him both solve the murder and help him understand what this new mantle means.
Can they find the killer before the killer finds them? And can they do so without further complicating their already complex relationship?
