   Summary

   In an alternate timeline, Five Pebbles relentlessly pursues the Solution despite The Rot taking over his body. Eventually he conceives a horror from this rot. This new entity known simply as “The Prince” tells Pebbles that he knows of the Solution to break the Self Destruction Taboo, and in his desperation, he’s easy to tempt.
