Chapter Text
It had been a few weeks since Hiruko and Takumi's date. With no reason to keep their relationship a secret, they decided to move into the same room.
Hiruko insisted on staying in Takumi's room because of "the smell." Takumi chose to believe that was just another one of Hiruko's weird and adorable ways of expressing love.

8:10 AM:
It was early in the morning. Hiruko and Takumi had just woken up together, something they still hadn't gotten used to.
"Yawwn Morning, Hiru..." Takumi stretched and rubbed the sleep from his eyes; the familiar smell of tea filled his nose.
"Morning, sleepyhead. You slept through the morning announcements; I was convinced I'd have to bury you in the courtyard." Hiruko smirked as she gently poured her green tea into a mug.
"I don't even get a funeral!?"
"Lazy leaders don't deserve a funeral~" She chuckled as Takumi got up from bed and kissed Hiruko on the head.
"Very funny..."
Takumi went into the bathroom and cleaned his teeth, making sure not to use Hiruko's toothbrush...again. Afterward, he hopped in the shower, only for the door to slide open...
"H-Hiruko!?" Takumi quickly averted his gaze, his face blushing.
"What's the matter, Takumi? I only want to shower with you."
("This woman is nuts!")
"Are you sure I'm in here and...you know..."
Hiruko stepped closer and wrapped her arms around Takumi, letting the warmth of the water wash over them.
"I'm just trying to save water," Hiruko replied smugly, knowing full well their water supply was nearly infinite.
"I guess that's as good a reason as any!" Takumi squeaked, trying not to think about how Hiruko's breasts were pushing up against him.
"Be a good servant and wash my back," Hiruko said with a chuckle, taking pleasure in watching her boyfriend squirm.
"You're evil, you know that?"
Hiruko's smirk grew wider as she felt Takumi's hands begin to work their magic...

3:40 PM:
It was now midday, and Takumi was sitting on his couch, still recovering from his shower with Hiruko.
"You're acting like you've never seen me naked before."
Hiruko broke Takumi's blush-filled trance as she sat on the edge of his desk.
"Can you blame me? I mean, you're beautiful..." Takumi whispered the last part, looking away.
"I—Well, I'm glad you think so. As slim as you are, I find you quite handsome as well." Hiruko looked away quickly, trying to hide her own blush.
"Hey, I can bulk up if I wanted to; I just...can't be bothered." Takumi looked away in mock embarrassment.
"Some leader you are, Takumi...or maybe you need an incentive?"
Hiruko leaned closer, ready to tease Takumi.
"How—"
*peck, thump.*
Before Hiruko could continue Takumi got up kissed her and pinned her to their bed.
"Takumi..."
They looked at each other; a tense silence washed over them.
"What's the matter, Hiruko? I only want to tease you." Takumi let out a smirk that sent shivers down Hiruko's spine.
("This man is dangerous!")
Takumi's face was beet red, but the same could be said about Hiruko, who was getting hot and bothered in her own way.
"W-Well, I'd be more inclined to believe that if you weren't so red, Takumi~"
"Right back at you, Hiru."
Hiruko's face started heating up even more as she tried to struggle out of his grip.
But before she could he leaned down and took her into a deep kiss that Hiruko could only moan into as she let the pleasure of this new and brave Takumi take control.

9:50 PM:
The day was ending, and the situation baffled them both as they came down from the ecstasy of their activities.
"I have to say, Takumi, I liked that side of you. It was..."
"Pretty cool," Takumi finished, his eyes glazed over as his body came to terms with what they had just done for the past few hours.
"Simple-minded as always, Takumi...but yes, it was pretty cool," Hiruko managed between breaths.
Without warning, Hiruko placed her hand on Takumi's cheek and moved his head to look at her.
"You're an idiot."
"Uh-"
"An adorable, simple minded, overwhelming idiot but...I love you."
Hiruko pushed herself forward so their foreheads could touch.
"I can't believe it's you; you're the one I'd die for."
Hiruko couldn't stop the words from coming out; it was like she was being controlled by an outside force, ironically forcing her to say everything on her mind...Is this what it's like to be connected to someone? To be so undoubtedly in love with someone that the facade you show the world crumbles the second they look at you?
If it was...then she could die a million times over with a smile on her face.
In the midst of a horrible war raging outside their walls, a terrible, deadly invasion spanning thousands of timelines, two souls at the center of it all found love and solace in each other's embrace.
"Hiruko...you have an odd way of showing your love, you know that?" Takumi chuckled as Hiruko's face turned bright red.
"I-idiot..." Hiruko tries to look away only to he stopped by Takumi's voice.
"Hey, look at me."
She looked up into his adoring eyes.
"I love you so much, Hiruko."
He didn't need to say it. She knew how he felt as soon as she looked into his eyes.
She knew that they were soulmates.
