Summary
Isolated people usually have a lot more in common than people realize at first.
Take one man, who doesn’t remember anything but a name and given nothing to remember but two notes, and wanders around looking for the meaning of his current life, and what his meaning was before.
Another man, cursed to walk the Earth until the second coming of Christ, fused with a boy at the time. Now, he wanders, searching for a way to stop his pain. He's been alone for as long as he could remember, besides the constant pain he's lived with.
Yet another man, who was formerly a nomad chasing reindeer, now settled down as the caretakers of the dragon. He had the dragons, sure, but there wasn't any human contact for weeks, months, years, decades at a time.
When three lonely people meet up, each with their own intentions, it's rare they remain lonely for long.

A sleigh beggy, a mage and an alchemist walk into the Dragon's Aerie. Hijinks ensue.
