Isagi wouldn’t mind loving Kaiser—if it didn’t mean loving a boy. Kaiser wouldn’t mind loving a boy—if it didn’t mean loving Isagi.
This is a story about Isagi’s struggle with internalized homophobia, his fight against the part of himself that refuses to accept a love that feels “wrong.” All he wants is to be the best striker, the game is his first and only love. Love, especially between two men, isn’t supposed to be part of his world.
Kaiser, meanwhile, craves love desperately but knows that as long as he loves Isagi, he’ll always come second, because Isagi’s true love will always be football, never him.
When Isagi finally embraces who he really is, will it be too late? How long can Kaiser bear to wait, trapped in a love that breaks him bit by bit?
