Missed You (Wait, What are yo-)

Summary:

Saw and Taco re-unite in BFB 15, but it goes a bit... differently.

Lollipop, stay yearning for your lesbian kiss.

Work Text:

"Oh hey, it's Taco!" Saw cheered, once Four had rescued all of her team members.

"Oh my plank, Taco you're back?" Gaty asked, surprised to see Taco.

"Nice fish." Lollipop leaned back on the table, smirking.

Saw held her arms out, excited, "Taco, we missed you so much!"

Saw hugged Taco, a BIG hug, wrapping Taco within her arms. She missed Taco, no, scratch that, being stuck down with Lollipop, Gaty, Teardrop, and Dora for who knows how long made Saw feel like something was missing. It was the same feeling that arose when Taco was stuck in the jawbreaker for months. This panging loneliness that no one could fill quite like Taco. It was something Saw never admitted to anyone, really, thinking it was a little embarrassing for her to be so lonely with Taco. Even when they were on "bad terms," Saw found herself really missing Taco.

Saw was so happy to see Taco again, and that's why she hugged her. She didn't think about how hot she would be from swimming through lava, or how it would hurt. And having Taco, in her arms, at that moment, made her feel so... complete. Whole, like nothing was wrong. The missing piece to the puzzle, within her arms. Saw didn't even realize just how close their mouths were, until she felt Taco lean into it. Wait- more than just lean into it.

Saw felt like her heartbeat LEAPED out of her chest as Taco closed the gap between their lips. But she didn't stop it, in fact the opposite. She was the one to continue it. The world felt like nothing as they kissed. Saw could feel Taco holding onto her, as she did the same. Nothing could capture just how she felt in the moment. It was perfect, electric, and warm.

Everyone else was left speechless at what they were witnessing. Saw and Taco, sharing their first kiss. Lollipop felt jealous, Gaty felt confused, Teardrop just looked away. Four was a little annoyed that they were interrupting Cake at Stake. But no one dared to interrupt such a special moment for the two.

When the two released from each other, Saw felt her cheeks so much warmer than the rest of her body. Taco looked at her, smiling and also blushing. It was a warmth between the two radiating with love and care. And it was the three words that was, up to this point, unspoken.

"I love you, Saw."

"I love you, too, Taco."
