Work Text:
Every day, behind his closed eyelids, morning and night, Lloyd saw him.
Zelos' playful smirk, aqua eyes glimmering. Zelos' flush, soft kiss-bitten lips, breathy moans.
Zelos hunched, pale, crimson-spattered, so bitter. Empty. Life drained by Lloyd's sword.
The world had been saved, remade. But every day, Lloyd woke up thinking Zelos would be there, next to him. Every day, Zelos wasn't.
But today, for the first time in months, Lloyd smiled. He adjusted his blade in his hand, its weight familiar, comforting, as he slid it along his own throat.
Zelos wasn't here. But soon, Lloyd would finally join him.
