Shiki thinks the Composer has a lot of nerve, only showing up after Neku's gone. He has even more nerve to be offering her a deal to help get her and Eri's business started. But given the opportunity to help Players (and maybe Neku, wherever he is,) she takes it.
Joshua barely got his Game back to normal before Shinjuku's Inversion caused yet another mess. But things are under control, and if anyone still disagrees with how he's handling Shibuya, he can give them a success story to talk about.

Neku cracked a smile. “Feels good to hear you say that.”
“A little longer,” Joshua said. “You’ll have to bear it for a little longer.”
He sounded almost gentle. Neku was suddenly seized with anxiety again. He reached for Joshua’s hand, and took it tightly.
Joshua looked down at their hands, and then up at Neku, eyes wide.
“Don’t…” Neku almost faltered, but he steeled his resolve. “Please don’t leave me alone.” -
