For Shavuot, Lizzie was finally getting her sleepover. Everyone was spread out across the room, blankets and pillows covering the floor.
Lizzie was reading Tehelim with Scar. Scar had made lilac ice cream, which Lizzie was stealing bites from to have with her pumpkin pie. She had a big, soft pink blanket spread over both of them.
Gem, Scott, and Impulse were reading Shir HaShirim together. They had cherry ice cream, and a small crowd of stuffed animals with them.
Pearl had stolen some of their cherry ice cream so that she, Joel, Bdubs, and Mumbo could have it with the chocolate cake Joel had made. They were reading Yoel, and with them they had Mini Mailbox, a stuffed wolf Bigb had made Pearl for Chanukah, sitting on a pillow shaped like the Earth.
Grian, Etho, and Cleo had coffee ice cream, and they were reading Devarim together. They had a plush magma cube, of course called Etho’s Dishwasher II, that heated up.
Martyn and Jimmy were reading Bereshit. They had butterscotch ice cream, and a plush of Baxter.
Bigb, Skizz, and Tango had a huge, fluffy, pink heart-shaped pillow. They were reading Hoshua, and eating cherry blossom ice cream.
In the morning, they would have tasks to do. But for tonight-
For tonight, all they had to do was learn.
