Summary
Ed is a parttime werewolf, full time coffee shop owner in a small, rainy seaside town off the coast of Washington who is just trying not to self-destruct and ruin his whole life(again). Stede is a new vampire trying to come to terms with what he is by doing what he does best: running away. After an accidental meeting, their lives become entangled in impossible ways. This is a story about loving the monster, hating your parents, rival coffee shops, smoking too much on the porch at night, murder mysteries, the sacred nature of the perfect latte, summertime in a small town, and how sometimes the scariest things are the ones we should run towards.
