God was the brick kissed because OW. I swear it just kept getting worse like a brick ricocheting off my nose and onto buildings that end up falling on me bcos holy shit this is a gut stab and a half god it's hurtsss. The yearning, the details and descriptions that are all so good at expressing aoi's pain and the hopelessness of this situation pls im pleading for a happy ending even pls. Absolutely phenomenal writing how do I even describe this atp- it's so in character with how both of them sacrifice themselves for family expectations and trying to find comfort in each other and understanding each others suffering (god teru trying to fall in love with aoi with the kiss pls mercy). Both of them (esp aoi cos her pov) are suppressing each other so hard and they can't even hate the ppl who forced them into this or those cheering for them I just wanna hug both of them even akane man's trying his best to be happy for his only love. Now the yearning oh my god the yearning I swear this is yearning for the unnatainable: the fic cos wtf each line feels laced with so much internal conflict and yearning and suppressing herself and missing the past, trying to force herself to enjoy what she should bcos she's getting what's seen as good by society but not what she wa ts and more yearning. God this fic was absolutely gut wrenching and so well written in the sense u truly feel the tragedy and pain of the situation with aois emotions god my heart
