It’s the night after session 5 of Last life.
Scar and Joel lay in Scar’s bed, atop magical mountain, inside Scar’s house, currently built of dirt.
They both are exhausted from the session, glad they have 2 days off before they have to go again for session 6.
Scar is red and Joel is yellow.
The vex hybrid is shitless, his wizard cloak dropped on top of a random chest, leaving him in just his underwear.
Joel is also shirtless, his green and purple robe neatly folded, on a different chest, leaving him in just the shorts he wears under the robes.
Joel lays on top of Scar, his head resting on Scar’s collarbone, his cheek on the vex’s chest. His beard tickling the bare skin of Scar’s chest.
The human lays there, chest down, soaking up the warmth the vex hybrid’s body produces while the vext hybrid has his arms around Joel, hands resting on his back, slowly rubbing circles into it with his right hand.
Scar’s hands stills on his back.
Joel’s eyes flutter open.
He moves to look at Scar’ face.
A hungry look is in his eyes, red from his name, bloodlust gone (it’s always gone when they are on a break between sessions), instead it’s just an animalistic hunger.
Joel’s eyes blow wide in pain as Scar digs the claws of his right hand into his bare back.
Scar trills a chiming chuckle.
He scratches his razor sharp claws over Joel’s left shoulder blade.
The vex hybrid brings his now bloodied claws up to his mouth, licking Joel’s blood off them.
Joel connects the dots in his head.
Scar is a vex hybrid, vex eat people, Scar must be hungry.
Joel squints his eyes shut, waiting for Scar to start eating his flesh.
Joel can feel the stinging pain as Scar strokes his hand over the cuts in his shoulder blade, aggravating the wound and probably smearing blood all over his fingers.
Joel can hear Scar lick the red liquid off his fingers before the pain flares again as Scar runs his fingers over the scratches in Joel’s back, picking up more blood.
Scar keeps doing this all the while Joel lays there, unmoving, allowing the vex hybrid to lick the blood.
After what felt like forever but was probably a few minutes Scar stops picking up blood from Joel’s back with his fingers.
The chest below Joel starts to emit a rumbling purr.
Joel opens his eyes again and sees Scar has closed his eyes.
Joel closes his eyes, trying to ignore the pain in his back, now fading a bit as the wound is allowed to scab over.
The human eventually falls asleep.
In the morning Scar apologizes to where Joel says it’s fine.
Scar gives Joel a healing potion which heals the cuts on his back, leaving only faint pink scars.
