Work Text:
Underneath soft lights
Where petals kissed a gentle breeze,
The world stood still
Admiring your radiant beauty
Your hand in mine, a quiet promise,
The kind no words can say.
The cherry blossoms bloomed
Through a new beginning with you.
Your eyes holds the intertwined
Strings of our love
Like the gentleness of your nature
You hold our love with grace
The blossoming, a spring after a harsh winter
Beautiful and true
The blossoms fall onto your shoulder
And you laugh, weaving them carefully
Into your sun-kissed mahogany, catching light like a promise
Each blossom that crowned your hair
Is a vow hung in the air.
A vow woven, now and forever
You, my dear,
Are the poem my soul writes
When I see the cherry blossom trees
