   Summary

   I don’t remember exactly when this world first went to hell, and fear of being devoured by the undead claimed the top of the food chain.
   At the very start of the epidemic, I found myself fighting to survive alongside people I trusted. We endured a great deal together, yet I always felt out of place: I trembled at the mere sight of the dead, flinched at my own shadow, and was convinced I wouldn’t last long — I’d simply die a foolish death.
   If only I had known what I would become… what I would be capable of.
