She flinched at every foot fall, as if the very world shook with the weight of them. Finally the steps ceased, stopping directly in front her. She could feel his looming presence, dangerous aura seeping out of him. Letting out a shaky, teary breath, she dropped her arms to her sides, reluctantly uncovering herself.
