You are The Knight. The Roaring Knight.
Or rather, the person beneath the armor of The Knight.
When you first saw the armor, your first thought was on the material it was composed of. It didn’t look to be made of any steel you were familiar with. Instead, it looked like it was made of some kind of black crystal unlike any you had ever seen. When you first put it on, you noticed how it didn’t feel like you were wearing anything. It felt more like… wearing a second skin, for lack of a better term. You thought it was weird, but you had decided to shrug it off and focus on your goals.
If only you had realised how accurate that description would be. For as it turned out, the armor wasn’t merely armor. It was, for lack of a better term, alive.
It could think and feel as much as you could, and it could even breathe, as you had found out when you had nearly suffocated in the thing. You had to breathe in time with the armor in order to get any air. And, most disturbingly, the armor could act on its own, regardless of your desires.
It had been doing so with increasing frequency.
It made you wonder, sometimes, if you were truly the one wearing the armor, or if it was wearing you.
During your tenure as The Roaring Knight, you had begun to pick up on the armor’s… personality.
For one thing, the armor was completely merciless. It obliterated any foe in its path with ruthless efficiency, crushing them with its power. And more than that, there was also an… arrogance about the armor. As if it knew how powerful it was, and reveled in it, enjoying how effortlessly it could defeat anyone and anything that got in its way.
Yet, at the same time, the armor also had an odd code of honor. If a foe could weather the storm of attacks, the armor would grant them a reprieve, however small it ended up being. Additionally, when an opponent was able to impress the armor in a duel, it would grant them a prize… after knocking them unconscious, of course. You weren't able to tell if it enjoyed granting these boons or not.
What you could tell was its ultimate goal: To open many dark fountains, summon the Titans and bring forth The Roaring, the end of the world.
You didn’t want that. After all, if you achieved your goal, you couldn’t enjoy it if the world was going to end. However, right now, you and the armor had an agreement. It will help you achieve your goal, and in doing so, you would help the armor achieve it’s.
You only hoped that would happen before things got too out of hand.
