I Took a Wrong Turn and Somehow Ended Up With a Baby and My Arch Nemesis

Summary:

Honestly, this wasn't the first time Harry thought something would go terribly wrong and terribly right at the same time.

Notes:

Voldemort and Tom Riddle are 2 different people. Yes, there are 2 different Harry's. The older Harry is Slytherin. The younger is our Canon Gryffindor Harry.

This is probably going to be 2-3 shot. Any rude comments get deleted. Any questions about making comics and me having to pay for that... I DO NOT WORK AT ALL. I'M A LEGITIMATE NEET.

Do not beg for chapters, otherwise shit gets deleted. When i see a 'keep going' it makes me want to delete this entire thing.

Onto a happier note, Welcome! This is my first M/M for Harry Potter fandom so I'm lowkey excited. God, my writing style does change depending on the mf alter. (Alter being another personality.)

Chapter Text

There were times when Harry would question the Wizarding World and their sanity. And this was one of their times.

One, he was not a female, and two, a toddler was calling him 'mama' and he wouldn't stop despite Harry trying to tell this toddler he was a male and couldn't have kids.

~~~~~~~
Let's rewind a little bit. Harry had been minding his own business while gathering supplies for his technical eighth year. He had been talking to Hermione and Ron about the classes he would have liked to take and were now acceptable to take.
What he was not expecting was the world to suddenly stop... everything around him was gray and a black figure coming up in front of him. The only thing he could do besides turning around in confusion was stare at the impossible being.
He... They were tall... thin and wiry. However, they weren't bones like the stories that were told. Death just simply was. They were dressed in a black cloak similar to his family heirloom. They pointed to him, and he could just feel the cold grip on his heart before closing his eyes and falling into a cold, black abyss.
It's quiet. A silent so still that it makes his blood cold.
He watches. He waits. And then... the void points. To an abyss that seems endless. Endless of time and space. Endless of the forgotten. Endless of the darkest of nights.
And he with all his might could never refuse Death's gift. For Death has given him a new beginning.
Well, until he's flung into the past of 1995 sitting on a specific Dark Lord's lap with a rather cute cherubic toddler with his coloring and the older man's old face.
"Fuck." That could only sum up what he thought of his situation. Did this mean the younger Harry no longer existed? He couldn't feel the Horcrux in him anymore since May 1998 and before he was flung into the past it was just barely August 31st, 1998.
"Fu..!"
Harry grimaced as he looked down at the toddler in between himself and the Dark Lord. "No, Thomas, that's a bad word. Don't say that please."
He could just tell this was a version of the Dark Lord in front of him, how? He was not sure, but the fact that he could no longer feel his Horcrux might have to do with that. The toddler looked up at him and patted his cheek with a semi-sticky hand, "Ma... mama ma mama."
Lovely. He has been designated as the 'mother.' "Papa."
"Ma-ma." He sighed at the rather determined attitude of a toddler.
"Mr... Potter."
Harry wanted to groan, really he did.
"Lord Slytherin... I see you haven't shed that skin yet." Harry drawled as he looked at the other man calmly getting off his lap as he held the babe to him. Dear Merlin, that was embarrassing... to land in the Dark Lord's lap upon arrival.
"Lord Slytherin?" The almost hiss that came from his mouth made Harry's arm hairs stand.
"Your name was tabooed... simply calling you Lord Slytherin was easier." The toddler looked between him and the old man as he stuck a small fist in his mouth. Harry looked down at the child in half amusement as he gently took the fist out of his mouth and conjured a dark green dummy before placing it in Thomas' mouth.
"How... ingenious. And the child?"
"Mine."
"Of course... I would never take a child from his bearer." A smooth silky tone came from the Dark Lord somewhat mocking Harry. He curled his upper lip in a snarl as he stared back. "Tell me, Harry Potter... how did you come from the future that is?"
Harry raised an eyebrow at the name. He hasn't been a 'Potter' in some time and he was not about to correct the man... snake, thing. "I was simply led by the nothingness of everything."
There was a quiet, stalemate between the two men as they stared at each other only interrupted by a toddler who cried out, "Snack!"
Harry hid a smile in Thomas' raven-colored wavy curls as he turned around to find Nagini staring at his... child. "Yes, Thomas... it's a snake."
The young boy hissed unintelligible words as Nagini slithered up to Harry. Flickering her tongue out to smell.
"A mate and an heir, Tom. Smells of you." Harry grimaced at the words before he sighed softly.
"Well, seems you have eluded some information, Mr. Potter." Harry could just hear the condescending tone as he turned his head to look at Thomas who was reaching down to Nagini as he sucked on his dummy.
"I did no such thing. You didn't ask." He gave the older man a somewhat cold smile. "And it's not Potter. I haven't been a 'Potter' in some time."
"Should I call you my wife then?"
Harry glared at the man sharply, "Hadris Gaunt if you must know." Technically, it wasn't a lie. He learned he was Gaunt somewhere in his family line on his mother's side. 'Harry' was a nickname his father picked because Hadris sounded too proper.
"Oh? So, we are married and I am to assume my future self has gained his looks back and the war is over... yes?" The snake man looked far too proud for Harry's liking.
Harry dipped his head not really confirming or negating the Dark Lord's thought process.
The older man hummed, "My war bride and an heir. Harry Potter is just fifteen and in Gryffindor. Yet, you claim to carry a different name. Should I assume your house is not Gryffindor?"
"It is not. I have been a Slytherin for all my sixth years." Harry watched him with a wary glare. "I was going to do my eighth since I couldn't do my seventh."
"Ah, the babe was born in your seventh then." Harry's eyes narrowed as he watched Voldemort look at Thomas.
"Yes." Well, the misunderstanding might help in the long run.
