Work Text:

Dipper was an omega, he and his family had known for years, ever since he was ten and took the test. His parents were ashamed to have a male omega in the family as it was considered to be bad luck by some.

They made him take suppressants and act like he was a beta. Through the course of the years as Dipper’s body developed more and more, slowly turning into what was clearly an omega’s appearance, Dippers parents implanted a chip in him so his development would stop and he would be stuck at the same height and body type. But to his parents he still looked like too much of an omega with his short stature, curvy hips and doll like features . So they took it a step further, they lied on his school application form and said he was a beta, they had attempted at gland removal surgery but the doctors had said that Dipper was too young and that it would cause too much damage to his body and development.

For years Dipper had been taught to be ashamed of his secondary gender, to pretend that he was someone he wasn’t, but he was a good kid and did what his parents told him to do.

So he now here he was in his second year of high school and his fifth year pretending to be a beta. He was walking down the hall and bumped into someone tripping and falling and the books he was carrying fell to the floor as well. He looked up and gave the person a nasty scowl. He had bumped into a boy around his age, he was tall, much taller than Dipper ,who was five foot three, and had blonde hair and one gold eye and one brown eye. He was dressed in a simple yellow sweater and black jeans, but he managed to make that look amazing.

The boy was an alpha from his scent but Dipper didn’t care, the boy had bumped into him and didn’t even apologize or acknowledge his presence! Dippers scowl deepened and he gave the boy a glare. The boy looked down at him and offered him his hand. Dipper took it and got up, only to get back down and pick up his books, papers and pencil case. “A thank you would be nice” the boy said, he had a deep syrupy voice and he said it in a bit of a condescending tone.

“Too little too late” Dipper grumbled, after years of being bullied he had learned how to stand up for himself and this time he was letting the boy have it.

The boy smiled at him, his teeth sharp and his eyes slightly manic “now, now pinetree. Don’t you know any manners.”
Pine tree? Dipper thought, why was he calling him that?
“I can see the gears turning in that pretty little head of yours, little pine tree, would you like to share with the class?” Dipper grumbled once more and simple asked “why did you call me Pine tree?”
“Well, because you smell like pine trees and freshly brewed coffee and vanilla, a quite pleasant mixture and my name is Bill thank you for asking” the bo- Bill said with a hint of sarcasm at the end of his sentence.

“How can you tell what I smell like?”
“I can tell because you’re right in front of me?” Bill said phrasing almost like a question, or that he was questioning Dippers sanity.

Dipper frowned, he was wearing scent suppressors, no one should be able to smell his scent. He shook his head, and started to walk to class again.
“Hey wait!”
Dipper turned around and saw Bill, “what is it?”
“What’s your name, pine tree?” Bill said with a smirk.

“Dipper, my name is Dipper” Dipper said and turned back and headed towards his class.

He was getting tired of being ashamed of who he was, but who knows maybe the mysterious stranger by the name of Bill could change that.
