    Tim’s eyes were sparkling in the sun as he laughed at a joke made by the little kid climbing onto the inner tube. Tim normally wore his sunglasses like the rest of them, but Jason guessed he’d forgotten them today. Jason kept finding himself looking over at him, watching how the light made his eyes shimmer into the same color as the water below.
    Jason blinked a few times to focus up and waved over the next group of kids for his side of the slide. The platform they were stationed on had two slides, the largest in the park, which almost always meant it was the busiest. He liked working with Tim, but he hated how easily he was able to distract Jason from what he was supposed to be doing.

    Jason comes back to his old summer job at the Gotham waterpark after taking a year off for his internship. He finally meets Tim, who started working there the year before.
