“Happy Pride month Dot!” Liko smiled at her girlfriend. They’d just got together this month too, what a coincidence!
”Happy Pride month Liko.” Dot smiled a little at her.
…
”Now what?”
”Huh?” Dot was confused. Was there other stuff to do?
”I mean-we don’t have to do anything, but uh…this is our first pride month as a couple, so I figured…um…if you’re comfortable with it anyway-we could do something?” Liko stumbled over her words, which Dot thought was kinda cute.
”Okay…so you got any ideas? All I can think of is a special stream or something.”
”That could work! Or a parade?”
”…Maybe next year for the parade? Too many people…and I’m still not used to this whole girlfriend thing. Uh-I mean maybe this can be just us?”
”Okay, parade next year then. What else?”
Dot thought for a moment. “Uh…wear the colors of our flags?”
”That’s a good idea! I’m…not sure what I identify as though. Bi? Lesbian?”
”That’s okay.”
They were running out of ideas.
”We can watch a movie, or read manga? Like Bloom Into You?”
”We can do that now probably.” Liko left Dot’s room and brought the manga with her while Dot looked up a movie.
”I think spending time with each other is good enough for me.”
”Me too.”
