Summary
After the fight, after the coma, after everything — Su-ho wakes up. And Si-eun is there.
But nothing is simple in the aftermath. Between physical recovery and emotional scars, what begins as caregiving slowly becomes something else: a bond held together by hospital routines, missed confessions, a hoodie Su-ho won’t take off, and a journal Si-eun can’t let anyone read. Touch used to mean survival. Now it lingers — quiet, hesitant, too careful to name.Si-eun has always avoided feelings. Su-ho has always reached for others. Now they’re learning how to meet in the middle — in silences, late-night conversations, and the small moments that almost say more than they should.
As the line between friendship and something deeper begins to blur, both are haunted by what they couldn’t protect — and what they still might lose.
And Si-eun doesn’t know what it means to want someone to stay — not because they need to, but because they want to.
