Summary
Jongho is a bull hybrid, bred for violence and kept in a cage for most of his life. When a riot at the fighting ring gives him one chance to run, he takes it—bloodied, half-broken, and with no real plan beyond getting away.
He doesn’t expect to survive. He definitely doesn’t expect to find a ranch with an unlocked barn.
Yunho doesn’t believe in saving people anymore. But he knows how to stop bleeding. How to lower a fever. How to sit quietly beside someone until they decide to stay.
He lives alone now, ex-military, ex-field medic, more comfortable with animals than people. When he finds a hybrid passed out in his barn, he doesn’t ask questions. He just treats the wounds. Washes the blood off. Keeps the door open. And waits.
