Chapter Text

"MIKAELA GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE!!"

Mika giggles at Yuu struggling as he hops across the outdoor lamps, he learnt some for of gymnastics when he was in gear-training. Yet only uses it to spite Yuu, who was currently chasing him with his sword out. As the average collage roomates would do! Its only their 4th month here and they're already causing the most mishaps out of everyone on site.

This all started when Mika, Yochi, Yuu and Kimizuki were playing uno on their lunch break. Yuu shouted out "One!" When he had one card left and Mika snickered at him.

"What are you laughing at!?"

"You're supposed to say Uno Yuu-chan. Who even says one?"

"One, Uno same thing! Stop distracting m-"

Before he could finish his sentence, he realised he just put down a reverse card! Meaning Mika would go before him...

Yochi places down a +2 card, with Kimi stacking a +4, both snickering at Mika knowing what he has to do.

"H-Hey Mika!" Yuu starts, "you know how we've been friends this whole time!"

...Mika was unimpressed. "Yep! Anyways..." He almost evily hovers his hands over the cards, creating an annoying suspense to everyone before firing most of his entire deck out! And he had alot of cards... "Plus 4 plus 2 plus 2 plus 2 plus 4 plus 4 plus 2 plus 2 plus 2 plus 2 plus 4 plus 4 plus 4 and ooo, what's this! Skip. Your. Turn."

Yochi starts writing on his hand. Working out just how many cards Mika just put onto the poor boy before yelling out, trying not to laugh at his best ability: "Pick up 40 Yuu!"

Yuu slowly turned to Mika, just to be met by hooded blue eyes and the cheekiest grin known to man. It didn't take long until the table erupted into laughter, angering Yuu even more. How very dare his own best friend... Betray him like this! He strung his hands out to meet Mika's neck before falling over as Mika already began sprinting out of the lunch hall. Yuu following behind him as Yochi and Kimi are still trying to catch their breath.

So that's how they ended up here, with Yuu chasing down Mika in a manic defeat at a simple game of uno! Seriously, how short of a temper can this guy have...

They were still running before Mika hopped down and with a scared expression shouted "YUU-CHAN LOOK OUT!!" Before it was too late. Yuu's open sword had just sliced through the most precious jewel on campus. He looked in horror as the spell activated and the artifact disinigrated before his very eyes.

Mika walked over, not even knowing what to say until their silence was broken by the ONE person those two collectively despised (to some extent.) Had put her hand on Yuu's sholder and started in the most fake tone possible.

"Ouch! That looks bad... I can't believe you two would do something like that! Guren would sure be dissapointed, you don't want to loose your places here now do you..." Shinoa started, her purple hair had grown all the way to her waist by now, and it was in loose yet neat curls. With the back tied in a cat claw-clip rather than a bow. "I suppose, there's another way you could pay back for these; awful damages!"

"What are you thinking now." Mika asked in a slightly harsh tone, while Yuu shot her a suspicious look. "Yeah! We're sick of your ideas." Yuu stated trying to sound angry, but more so just seemed like a petty little boy going 'yeah what he said!'

Shinoa chuckled to herself then sighed, putting her hands intertwined infront of her now, standing infront of the two boys. "Me and Guren have been thinking, remember that survey we passed out, over who was single?"

"Well yeah. Wasnt it like to see who was distracted or something?" Yuu replied

"Not exactly. You see we've been needing a new attraction on campus. Something to bring in more money for supplies. And since we understand collage life can get oh ever so lonely without... A cute boy to hold you." She started smirking at the two.

"Where are you going with this Shinoa?" Mika started to get concerned. Were they about to be prosituted!?

"No its not what you're thinking! Something more, romantic lets say. You're both quite attractive." She winked at Yuu. "And what we've been thinking of is a certain kind of... Club."

"Oh god."

"Don't tell me."

"YOU'RE PUTTING US IN A HOST CLUB!?" The two hollered, Mika's soul almost flying out of his body before pulling it back. At least his was going up, unlike Yuu's.

"Well sure why not! Im sure you two can bare it for the next two terms no? Anyways its not optional. You start tomorrow at 9am, don't be late!" She gave them a smile before walking off.

The two pointed at eachother before realising, blaming won't do them any good here. They've been dragged into this already so there's no point giving out now...

"Ugh its too early for this!"

Yuu cried out as he was walking to the café where said, club was being run. He really didn't want to do this. Mika was walking beside him, finding the whole thing to be peak comedy. Still a bit pissed he's been dragged into it though.

"Oh cmon it can't be that bad! Maybe they'll make you wear a cute uniform. That's something I wouldn't mind seeing." Mika winked at him with his teasing comment as Yuu playfully shoved him and laughed a little.

"Hey cut it out! Anyways. Im not wearing some lame ass uniform. You know, they should let me run this thing! I'd be great at it."

"You say you'd be great at almost anything. Plus you just want to sit in the back and bake the whole time!"

"Well its better than serving some squealing girls or whatever..."

"I mean. There could be some guys there too. Gay boy."

"YOU'RE THE ONE WHO'S GAY MIKAELA!?"

Their banter was cut out as they reached the door. The café had a soft white and pink winter-ish aesthetic with bows and designed table clothes that matched the white wooden chairs. It was quite different from the rest of the collage grounds, like some form of hello-kitty café. Besides the fact hello kitty obviously wasn't there. The bell chimed as the two of them walked in, and they both turned to eachother, realising they had to pretty much work here.

"Oh hi guys!" A familliar voice called out, he turned around from the table he was setting up and Mika + Yuu's jaws dropped upon seeing him in probably what the male equivilant to a maid dress was. A tuxedo maid?

"YOICHI!? YOU WORK HERE!?" Yuu blurted out in disbelif. Was he punished like the two of them were, or was this some form of fantasy thing.

"Yeah! Kimizuki told me it would do me well. Something about 'people find feminine boys attractive?' Whatever thats supposed to mean. Also I'm getting paid well enough for it so I don't really mind."

Yuu nudged Mika at this comment. "Yeah Mika feminine guys are attractive! You'll sure get alot of game here." Mika pushed him onto one of the pink sofas, getting a "HEY!!" from the raven-like boy.

"Ignoring him, you're getting paid for this Yoichi?" Mika asked him. He never heard anything about payment!?

"Well I'm getting paid 1600¥ per hour because I offered to do it. You two aren't getting paid because this is to clear off your debt." He went back to setting up the plates and teacups on the tables, giving less focus to the pair.

"First of all, its not my fault Yuu's irresponsible! Second. Who told you about that?" Mika started to get a little pissed off at this. It was soooo unfair how he wasn't going to get anything out of this.

"Shinoa did. She's basically told everyone, finding this whole thing hilarious." Yochi giggled a bit between the last sentence, trying to compose himself so the two didn't go insane or something. "Now come on, you two need to get into uniform."

Mika turned to Yuu, tugging at him arm from the couch. "Lets go Yuurichio, we need to get changed.."

"NO WAY! I'm not putting on that danmed uniform! I'm no girl's toy!"

"I'm not saying you are... now come on! You already caused enough complications here."

"You wouldn't catch me dead in it! Nuh-uh!"

"Uhm yuh huh! You'll see me in it too if that makes you feel better."

Yuu froze up. He started to slightly blush at the idea of it, not like Mika would look cute in it or an- "Fine lets go..."

After the two of them got changed, they stood in a line with Yoichi and the other 9 boys in it. The supervisor teacher, Ms Krull, was explaining over the rules. And of course Yuu wasn't listening. Messing with the collar of his shirt.

"Psst! Psst Yoichi!" Yuu whispered, nudging him. "How come kimizuki isn't here?"

"He refused to join" Yoichi replied lowly, "thinks its lowkey not worth his time or something." Yuu rolled his eyes at this. Not noticing Mika being called aside by Krull once they were dismissed out of line and the opening sign was turned around to let people in.

"Hey Mikaela!" Krull said, trying to compose the cheeky smile on her face. "Is there.. something bettween you and that Yuurichio guy?"

Now if Mika's soul could fly out twice within 24 hours, it would. "Yuu? N-No!? He's just my friend."

"Alright then... whatever you say..." Mika rolled his eyes at this comment and went back into the main area as the first girl walked in.

Hopefully this goes well for them...
