Work Text:
Jax hated Ragatha. He hated her happy mask. Just her cheerful appearance made him irritated. One glance at her forced smile and he wanted to simply wipe it off her face. Jax just wanted to tear off that nauseating mask from her. He wanted her to show everyone what she really was. To show him who she truly was.
When real feelings slipped through the mask, Jax rejoiced. He simply exulted and wanted more. For her to start screaming at him, pouring out her real emotions. For her to spill out her entire dirty soul to him.
Everyone saw Ragatha as a kind soul who wanted to help. But they also saw that it was all deception, a mask. Jax saw that the doll wasn't much different from him. She was selfish and he knew it. She wanted attention and he would give her all the attention she could want. The rabbit would do everything to see, to experience her real emotions. He wanted to dissolve into her, to cause pain. All just to see how her mask breaks, how she herself begins to break. And he wanted this. He wanted Ragatha to finally break down. For her to cry.
It irritated him when she tried to help him. The way she spoke to him politely left him at a loss. And Jax simply hated it. And the feelings he experienced because of it too. And so he would do everything just to see the real her.
Jax hates Ragatha. He hates her happy mask. But he simply adores the real Ragatha. He will do everything just to make her mask crack.
