Summary
Lee Dong Sik is a high school senior at Gyeonggi High in Seoul’s Gangnam district. Known throughout the school as a troublemaker, he’s equally infamous for the rumors that haunt him — the tragic story of his younger sister, Lee Yu Yeon, who was killed in a hit-and-run at the end of 2022. A case that, to this day, remains unsolved and buried by the media.
On the other side is Han Joo Won, eighteen, recently transferred to Gyeonggi after spending his entire adolescence in England, studying at Eton since he was eight. Now back in Korea, he struggles to navigate the cold, power-driven expectations of his father — the nation’s Deputy Commissioner.
Coincidentally, the same man who closed the investigation into Yu Yeon’s death.
Both top students in their year, Dong Sik and Joo Won begin to foster an intense, irrational hatred for each other. But what starts as animosity rooted in pride, resentment, and deep-seated envy soon begins to twist, bringing them closer in ways neither expected.
