Jake
- is very serious
- Jake has only recently started waring glasses and still isnt used to waring them
- doesnt really like wearing them
- Jake is the tallest out of the Red Kites and also the stongest
- is a good fighter
- Even though he has lessons with Edward to improve his literacy he can't seem to get a grasp on spelling and his writing is pretty bad
- Regards to the upper point he is dyslexic
- when he first got to thais he was uncomfortable with how friendly people in the city are due to how people are in peliad
- very protective of all the group but especially peter
- he and mel have many conversations about how strage life is in this city
- genrally avoids lydia and her group but they dont particularly bother him since he broke one of the groups arms when he harrassed nancy
Peter
- is very hyperactive
- probably has adhd
- has no concept of personal space
- has a photographic memory
- smartest in the group but finds it difficult to focus
- very trusting maybe too trusting
- but is also a very good fighter
- would have finised grays test quicker than mel but got distracted and forgot he was suppost to let him know he had done
- knows nearly everyone in town
- holds grudges
- lydias group try to be friends with him, he just stares at them untill they leave him alone
Peter and Jake
- known each other for as long as they can remember and are both orphans
- both stowed away on a ship from peliad when they were 15
- share an apartment with Matt, don't know how they havent been evicted between peter and matt disturbing the neighbours
- caught grays eye when they sneaked into the school library and peter memorised a book he stole
- still had to do the test sperately, was pretty hard to be apart because they couldnt remember a day they hadn't seen eachother
Matt
- jokester of group
- comes from a large family is one of 11 kids
- think tylee from avatar
- ran away from home and became friends with peter and jake
- parents neglectful didnt seem to notice he even left
- imposter sydrome
- not super great at fighting
- really good at hiding
- super sneaky
- jake and peter saved him from lydias gang and since then inseperable
- helped them sneak into the library but he wasnt caught
- peter accidentally let it slip that he was involved and thats how gray found him
Gracie
- mother is rita who runs the paper
- nancy mother and her mother childhood friends so been together since they were born
- super fast, quickest runner
- also quite hyperactive
- the only one on par with edward for literacy
- thought she had a crush on edward until he spoke to her and she relised what a loser he was loves him platonically just like all the other boys
- lives at home with her mother and is super close to her
- favourate weapon is a sling shot just because she finds them funny
- is usually the oneto suggest pranks and peter and edward usually egg her on
- hasnt had a incident with lydia and her group
- has great balance, can leap between tree branches like a squirrel
Nancy
- mother runs bakery
- very perceptive, takes after dad
- calming presence
- her and jake always say wrangling the group is like hearding cats
- cuts her own hair, drives her mother mad
- acts shy, can snap a man in half, the only reason she didnt put the guy who harrassed her in the hospital is because jake beat her to it
- mel and her have a running joke that no matter what jake will look at peter fondly multiple times a day
- unsurprisingly great at baking
- but hates sweets
- has a pet cat the only one in the group that has a pet
- bakes the best steak and potato pie any of the group have ever had
- usually the group will meet at her house to go over notes because her parents always provide snacks
- one time when she was younger a local kid made fun of her dad, no one knows what she did to them but they still run away when they see her
Willette
- moved to thias from witchwood quite recently
- not super organised
- very rare shes not late
- is also very forgetful
- liked being a witch but always wanted to work on a normal farm
- send money back into town for her sister who feels she doesnt fit in with the other witches
- coincidentally her sister is harriet
Professor Moo
- no one knows what hes the professor of and tells everyone something differet everytime they ask
- is actually a professor in all the things he tells them just finds it funny not to let everyone know
- has a soft spot for willette as she reminds him of his little sister
- his family is still alive and he is very close to them, sends letter every week and visits every month
- the farm is where the royal family breed their horses which is how it stays afloat
- they bring the horses they want to breed and when the foal is born it stays at the farm with the mother untill it's old enough to be trained
- looks older than he actually is
Lia
- gray and her have been friends since they were children
- comes from a long line of seamstresses
- other informats always joke that shes like grays wife
- more like a lavender marrage
- lia had a partner in the past but she died
- has infinate patience for everyone exept gray
- is the only one who knows how childish gray actually is
- is still a no nonsence type of person though
- best seamstress the town has and so in high demand
Rita
- husband died from an illness
- sugessted to her daughter to join grays team
- very good at moving attention to unimportant things to hide information
- good at directing the narative and swaying public opinion
Luelle (Bakery owner)
- usually first contact for new people in town
- her husband doesnt speak so she does all the talking for them think komi parents from komi cant communicate
- also suggested her daughter joins grays team
- her and rita meet up every evening to chat
- coincidentally they are neighbours
Fritz
- transports sesative messages on wine lables
- seems snooty but is actually really nice
- lets the red kites use his dock but likes to give them a hard time about it
- is like an annoying uncle to the group
