Chapter Text
This isn't really a 'chapter', because it's an explanation (like the ones I've been doing more recently with my fics), so you, the reader, can understand the events that led us up to this point in time. Anyways,
During 7th year, since Harry in canon never did his 7th year, he is out in the forest with Ron and Hermione, camping and 'searching for horcruxes' (Btw, go and read the tags. It'll help you understand the storyline.) Ron and Hermione have no idea that Harry is actually working with Tom Riddle, cause there's no Voldy Moldy in this universe. Harry is searching for the Horcruxes to bring to Tom, and he very nearly succeeds. But, Ron and Hermione spot Harry talking to his wand, and sending off a patronus in the middle of the night, but his patronus isnt a stag like it was in third year. It's a Nundu. Hermione and Ron quickly figure out what's going on, and they get help from Draco.
Back in first year, when Draco was positive he would get Slytherin as his house, he got sorted into Gryffindor. He became friends with the trio, and while he still has his Slytherin friends, they had slowly drifted away. Draco is at Hogwarts working to become an Auror when he gets an urgent message from Ron and Hermione. They explain what they're doing and where they are, asking Draco to come and help them. Draco agrees and soon departs to their location, finding Harry sitting by the water. He shoots a full-body bind curse at Harry, but a shield spell dissolves the spell, and Harry escapes, taking the horcruxes they've found so far. (The locket, the cup, and the diadem.) After Harry runs away, Draco helps Ron and Hermione go back to Hogwarts, finishing their NEWTS and becoming Aurors. Then they all just, do Auror shit.
Harry, on the other hand, goes to Tom, who takes the horcruxes and hides them (or smth like that). Harry then gets taught by the Lestranges for his NEWT subjects, learning curses, rituals, wards, etc, but he also becomes flexible, and he learns kickboxing, as well as how to do almost every practical gymnastics move. He also gets stronger, physically and mentally. Anyways, Harry is now working with Tom, and none of the Death Eater characters are called Death Eaters; they are called 'Other Siders.' (Pls dont ask why, I thought it would be a good name considering they ARE on the opposite side of the war.)
Now, the year Harry ran away to go to Tom was 1997, and now it's been about 3 years, so the current year is 2000. Harry is still working with Tom, and they're dating. Draco, Hermione, and Ron are all aurors, but Draco, in the year 1999, became a higher level or smth? Like, a hero cause he saved multiple kids in a fire, and he got special powers (Water control and any form of water, so ice and steam). Harry also has special powers, fire, metal, and electricity/lightning. So, currently, where our story begins, Harry is perched on an empty shop roof in Diagon Alley, watching Aurors and other ministry officials enter the Ministry, just chilling.
Prologue
Draco stares in shock as the number one villain strolls into the room. He looks around, shock radiating from his face as nobody does anything about him.
"Whats the fucks going on?" Draco asks.
The villain chuckles, "Nothing much, just a little deal I've made with them."
Draco clenches his jaw, the villains chuckle, sounding the same as it did in Hogwarts.
"What are you doing here?" Draco asks.
"Darling, didn't I just tell you?" The villain replies.
"That doesnt explain anything."
"I think it explains a lot."
"Well, it doesnt!"
"Darling, get a hold of your temper."
"I won't until something tells me what's going on!"
"No one here's gonna tell you, I'll tell you that."
"Can you just shut up so I can think?"
"No, I dont think I can."
Draco huffs out a breath in annoyance, "You're just the same as in school, annoying and impossible to talk to."
"Aww, so you do remember me! I thought you had forgotten, considering you haven't said anything."
"Shut up."
"No."
"You're impossible." Draco huffs.
Harry grins, "Thanks, darling."
