Jaehyun closes the group chat as he gets ready to meet with Dongmin first thing in the morning.
The six of them haven't been friends for that long but they fit with each other perfectly like a puzzle. Jaehyun, Dongmin, and Woonhak shared a class on music production which was how the three of them first met and whenever the three of them grouped up, it had never failed on getting them one of the highest grades.
Taesan then introduced Donghyun to Jaehyun and Woonhak telling them how Donghyun just approached him saying Woonhak looked like a Corydoras during lunch break and after a few conversations, found out they were the same age.
Jaehyun also introduces Sungho and Sanghyeok telling the younger ones they became friends once they found out they were all born in 2003. From then on, the six of them have been eating with each other, picking each other as group mates for school work or projects, and overall spending every minute with each other.
Jaehyun finishes getting ready and is about to head out when he sees a figure dressed in a black hoodie and black jeans with a black cap. Jaehyun tilts his head at the figure standing outside his house having no recollection of the guys saying they were gonna come by his house.
He's about to send Taesan a message that he might have to wait a bit when the figure turns around making Jaehyun see the 'ARTSTUDIO' sewn into the visor telling him the figure is Han Dongmin.
Jaehyun exits his room, goes downstairs, and opens the front door to throw himself at Han Taesan. Taesan sees this coming as Jaehyun always does this whenever he drops by the older boy's house so he doesn't wobble when Jaehyun comes barreling towards him and even lifts the older boy just slightly to hear Jaehyun giggle near his ear.
What he doesn't see coming are the slaps that Jaehyun is throwing on his back and Taesan thinks of putting the older boy down but instead tightens the grip his arm has on the older boy's waist and spins them around.
"Ya! Ya! Ya! Han Dongmin, stop spinning your hyung around!" Jaehyun yells as Taesan spins them around a few more times before he stops and lets Jaehyun's feet touch the ground. "You brat." Jaehyun says while smiling brightly. Taesan smirks and has no plans of letting Jaehyun go far as he just loosens the grip he has on his waist but keeps it there.
"Why'd you take so long, Jaehyunie hyung?" Taesan asks as he moves the arm that was around Jaehyun's shoulders and fixes his hair. "I thought there was a weird person waiting in the front of my house so I didn't want to come down. I was about to text you that you might have to wait a bit but you turned around when I was about to do that." Jaehyun recalls and the younger boy hums at that.
"Tell me if something like that does happen, hyung. I don't want anything happening to you." Taesan says and Jaehyun almost squirms away from the younger boy but the grip Taesan has around his waist is not letting up so he can't do anything but stare at him as Taesan makes him promise that Jaehyun will tell him if he ever encounters something weird or bad. Taesan unwraps him after their pinky promise with thumbs.
Taesan learned that the hard way when his friend offered to buy him food the same day that Jaehyun had his poetry recital and Jaehyun had made him pinky promise (with thumbs!) that he would come watch.
The younger boy missed Jaehyun's turn by 5 minutes and when Taesan apologized, Jaehyun reassured him that he wasn't sulky but for a whole week, the two only shared brief conversation before Jaehyun would excuse himself, the older boy stopped inviting Taesan to eat with him and even rejected Taesan's invitations to eat outside, and avoided sitting next to Taesan when they had movie nights with the other guys.
Jaehyun sat next to Riwoo for two movie nights that they had with the guys and since it was Taesan and Donghyun's turn, both picked horror movies—Taesan only picked a horror movie as he was sure Jaehyun would choose to sit next to him as he Taesan was his assigned cuddle buddy when it came to horror movies—so imagine the face Taesan made when Jaehyun took a bag of popcorn and his chocolates and took the spot next to Riwoo.
Both boys sat next to each other on both movie days as Jaehyun was truly determined to avoid Taesan. Each took turns scaring the other by flinching, screaming, and pinching whenever a jump scare showed up or scary background music started playing.
It all came to an end when Sungho pulled Taesan aside when he arrived at Woonhak's house as it was the youngest's turn for movie night and told him to fix whatever had happened with Jaehyun as Woonhak had also picked a horror movie. The youngest one chose The Wailing and Jaehyun cursed as soon as he saw the title when he turned his attention to the tv.
He then looked to where he and Riwoo had been sitting for the last 2 movies nights and cursed again, quietly this time, and saw that Sungho had taken the spot next to the boy. Jaehyun looked around and chose the seat next to Donghyun as the other vacant seat was the one next to Taesan.
To sit next to Donghyun he needed to walk past the seat where Taesan was at and where he always used to be but decided against it, he wasn't sulky at the taller boy, he just didn't want to sit next to him at that time.
B efore he could walk across where Taesan was sitting at, the younger boy reached up to wrap one arm around Jaehyun's waist and his left arm reached to where the popcorn was that Jaehyun had grabbed from the kitchen and as Jaehyun didn't see it coming, he ended up falling on Taesan's lap.
"Come sit with me, hyung. It's another horror movie and we both know you won't be that scared if I'm the one next to you." Taesan muttered so only Jaehyun could hear but Jaehyun heard Donghyun cursing lightly as he moved towards the middle of the couch that he was sitting on to avoid hearing any more of Taesan and Jaehyun talking.
Taesan had smirked when he saw Jaehyun's neck getting pink and he placed the popcorn on the couch, stopped it from falling by trapping it between his left leg and the sofa then adjusted Jaehyun, who's still on his lap slightly frozen with alarms blaring on his head, and Jaehyun stopped fighting with Taesan when Woonhak announced that he was gonna start the movie.
"Fine, I guess we're good. Let me clarify that I wasn't sulking at you though. I just wanted to sit next to Riwoo." Jaehyun declared softly as he stared at Taesan and Taesan hummed in response. "I know, hyung. It's ok. Let's watch the movie." Taesan concluded and Jaehyun made himself even more comfortable before he looked at Taesan and the popcorn to let him know to grab it for him and the younger boy does just that.
Jaehyun stayed on Taesan's lap the whole movie and even when the rest of the guys started winding down to go to sleep. Jaehyun remembered falling asleep on Taesan's lap but when he wakes he was met with Taesan's chest and both of them are laying down with Taesan's arm thrown across his waist and their legs tangled together with a blanket covering mostly just Jaehyun.
Taesan snaps out of his thoughts when Jaehyun rubs at his fingers. "Are you okay, Dongminie?" Jaehyun asks as he keeps messaging Taesan's fingers. Taesan nods at that and swings the bag that Jaehyun is holding to hang on his shoulder and they start making their way to their usual cafe that they u sually stop by to eat breakfast before their classes start.

school president: yes we did

school president: no it was nothing like that
school president: well sort of
school president: i mean
huRIWOOup: alright calm down for a second
huRIWOOup: you can tell me when ur ready
school president: ok i'm ready
school president: he told me that he has someone he likes
huRIWOOup: ok and how does that make u feel
huRIWOOup: do u hate it because it's someone you know?
school president: i don't hate it exactly
school president: and it is someone i know
school president: well more like
school president: someone we all know
huRIWOOup: we all know???
huRIWOOup: ... wait
huRIWOOup: he told you he likes you didn't he
school president: ..
school president: yes he did
school president: he then told me that before i reject him, i should give him 7 days to prove himself and he'll do whatever i tell him
huRIWOOup: alright
huRIWOOup: and how does that make you feel exactly?
school president: i don't know
school president: i know it's nowhere near April and he wouldn't pull a prank like this so late in the semester just because he's bored
school president: and he's also not the kind of person that would play with someone's feelings and go "oh, this whole relationship was just a lie, i was dared" or whatever
school president: but what if he says something similar
school president: i don't think i'd be able to handle that sanghyeok-a
huRIWOOup: ok and how would u feel if he genuinely just wants to go out with you
school president: ...
school president: ah
school president: AHHHHHH sanghyeok-a
school president: i don't know
huRIWOOup: just do whatever is most comfortable for you jaehyunie
huRIWOOup: i'll support whatever
huRIWOOup: i'll think about it if it's something drastic
huRIWOOup: but knowing han dongmin, he probably won't joke like this to anyone
huRIWOOup: but especially to you
school president: ah ;;;
school president: ok i'll think about it

huRIWOOup: don't keep the kid waiting for your yes for too long
