It was like any other day, a "normal day" at J High. Except it isn't. Nothing is ever truly normal at J High. Well, let's just say it's not the school, but rather two certain students who aren't normal.

The first one who has too dark tinted glasses. and wears them all the time. A wannabe rapper. Listens to the music of his former bully victim. has a dark past that nobody knows about except one person. and a further secret that lays behind his glasses. that no one should see.

And the second one (who has two bodies)would sacrifice himself for his friends. would never judge a person based on their appearance. hat terrible fashion sense. isn't exactly the brightest when someone flirts with him. who let everyone questions their sexuality. And one New person became one of them. But to better understand how this happened, let's go back a bit.

Like every other day, Daniel was on his way to school and a lot of things were going through his head: Jiho's betrayal, Logen Lee, God Dog, Runaway Family, Gun's offer, everything. What is it that, that danger keeps finding him? That will always remain a mystery to him. But no dangers have appeared for a while, which makes him uneasy. It's like the calm before the storm, and that worries him.


As usual, as soon Daniel arrived at school, all the attention were automatically drawn to him. But this time he got a lot more attention than he usually does. Most people should have gotten used to him by now, but now it feels like he's back on his first day at J High. Even a student who was just walking straight ahead (and looking at Daniel at the same time) tripped over his own feet.

But he didn't notice that, except, of course, the stars he was getting. He's still uncomfortable with all the attention he gets. but he tries to ignore it. Why were they all looking at him like that? Is it perhaps because he wasn't at school for a few days?

"Omg, he has a new hairstyle"

"Are those earrings he's wearing?"

"He looks even more handsome~♡"

He was about to go into the school building when someone grabbed his shoulder. This pulled Daniel out of his thoughts, he turned around and saw a very familiar person.

"Jay!" Jay was standing there, he has probably just arriving at school just as him.

Daniel was relieved and happy to see his friend. That he hat to smile at his friend. And let's face it, that smile was dangerous for the people around him. It put everyone in a daze.
You'd think the sun was shining directly into your face. And with his new look, it had become even more breathtaking. you even could, somewhere in the background hear a loud crash. probably another victim for whom Daniel's beauty was way too much. Jay smiled gently at that, God, he will never get tired of this view.

As Jay and Daniel continued walking together toward their classroom. They talked about the latest news, more likey Daniel than Jay talking. For the others around them, it's still a mystery how Daniel can understand Jay. He doesn't even speak a word let alone moves his mouth, but Daniel can still understand every word that he (said).

"Could you help me with theory again?" he asked Jay, who nodded of approval.

"Thanks Jay, you are a lifesaver" As they entered the classroom, Daniel was immediately surrounded by his female classmates.

"Good morning, Daniel!"

"Daniel, did you get your ears pierced?!"

"I love your new hairstyle♡"

Daniel was a little overwhelmed, but luckily, Jay was at his rescue. Jay helped Daniel push through the crowd to their seats. "Good morning, Zack"

"Mhm... Yea, morning" replied Zack without looking up,
his voice was muffled because his head was still buried deep in his arms.

He sat then down next to the sleeping Zack, the teacher wasn't there yet, so Daniel and Jay chatted a bit. until they were interrupted.

"Good morning, Daniel!"

"Good morning, Zoe" greeted Daniel when he saw Zoe walking over to them. "I love your new hairstyle, it suits you very well" complimented she as she lightly touched his hair. "Thanks, Zoe, but I'll just wear it like this for today" he said sheepishly, brushing hair from his face.

"Heeee, whyyyyy?"

"Waking up early every day to do this hair is exhausting" he said honestly. Actually he respects people who can do it every morning, but he prefers to sleep longer.

"I have to agree with Daniel, not everyone can get up so early  every morning and spend hours doing their hair" said Mira as she walked over to them. "But I have to agree with Zoe one thing, that hairstyle suits you" complimented Mira afterwards.

"Mira! And what about me? Do I look good too?!" exclaimed Zack when he saw his beloved Girlfriend, future wife and future mother of his children.

"Your hair looks the same as always, hideous" said Zoe sarcastically to Zack, who then glaret at her. "Shut up! I didn't ask you! I asked Mira!" he angrily cursed at her. "Zack! Stop it!" Mira immediately scolded Zack.

"sorry Mira"

"Pfff- Simp" provoked Zoe with a grin, where Zack gave her a nasty look, but said nothing to avoid Mira scolding him again. But before any more arguments broke out, the teacher came in to the classroom. "Okay, class, get to your seats!" he loudly screams, so everyone quickly jumped to their seats.

As the bell rang for break and the teacher left fast the classeroom. students starting heading to the cafeteria. Some also stayed in the classroom to talk to each other in groups.

"come on Daniel, I'm hungry" said Zoe to Daniel. "OK. Jay, are you coming too?" asked Daniel  as he stood up from his seat. Jay agreed. As the 5 made their way to the cafeteria, they were talking to each other. Zoe teased Zack about how big of a simp he was for Mira. Zack insulting Zoe, calling her a bitch, and Mira scolded Zack again. It was always the same with them, but he likes his friends.

As they entered the cafeteria, as always all attention was immediately focused on the group, or rather, on a certain individual in the group.

"Is that Daniel?!"

"Is it just me? or has he gotten even more handsome?"

"Omg, are those piercings?!"

"He looks even more handsome with that hairstyle~♡"

again, what is that with today that everyone is staring at them like that? Daniel was the only one who asked himself that, and also the only one who didn't know that his friends already knew why everyone was watching.

While the group was getting their food and trying to ignore the looks of the other students. an annoyed, familiar face looked at them. "Tsk, what's so special about this guy? I look much better than him" said Vinjin arrogantly, while his childhood friend Mary gave him a disgusted look. And his classmates looked at him as if he was crazy.

'Then take your glasses off first'

they all thought in unison, but no one said it out loud because there all know how Vinjin react to it.
"Keep dreaming, you look like an ugly monkey" said Mary. Mary was the only one in their group who dared to insult Vinjin to his face. because they knew each other for a long time before they even came to J High. but only the two knew that.

"Fuck you! And you look like an elephant!" retorted Vinjin, causing a back-and-forth between the two. While they were arguing, another group passed by. Apparently, one said something funny to the other and the student nudge him lightly. the one who was nudge, nudge the other back, only a little harder. And then it happened. The nudge was apparently too strong and the student lost his balance, bumping his elbow into Vinjin's body. And everything happened so slow, the glasses fell off, and Vinjin? He was in panic mode. If the glasses fell any further, they'd see it. But suddenly, a familiar hand slapped him in the face, forcing his glasses back over his eyes. And no one moved; only the loud slap sound could be heard, echoing throughout the cafeteria. Thanks to Mary's quick reaction, the glasses didn't fall much further.

When Vinjin realized what just had happened, he saw red. He jumped up from his seat and turned around so quickly that the student who had bump into him could only managed to see as a fist swung in his direction. He closed his eyes and just waited for the pain to come...... But it never came. Confused, he slowly opened one eye to see what was going on. Only to see that another hand was blocking the fist that was supposed to hit him in face. And that hand belonged to none other than Daniel Park.

"Stop that Vinjin, it was an accident" warned Daniel  but Vinjin didn't give a damn. All he could think about was that the student had bump into him and causing his glasses to almost fall off.
Everyone could have seen it. everyone. and he didn't want that. He didn't want see their reactions. the whispers.

"Stay out of it, Park!!!"

"It was an accident, Vinjin!"

"It as if I care!!!!"

"Hey stop it" and now a third person came into the play. Vasco, who had witnessed just a part of the culmination, made his way to them with Jace and Burn Knuckles in tow. "What the f*ck do you want?! Stay out of this! It has nothing to do with you!" yelled Vinjin in Vasco's face. "Yes, it does. you're tried attacking someone weaker" He reached his hand out to grab Vinjin's shoulder and he squeezed hard, forcing Vinjin to wince from the pain.

'Shit, has he gotten even stronger or what?!' When he realized the situation he was in, only one solution came to mind: to get the hell out of there.
"Tsk, whatever" he said as he pulled back his fist and shook off the hand on his shoulder. "I have to piss anyway" and so he stormed out of the cafeteria.

"What manners he has"

"He's completely out of his mind"

"He has probably a screw loose in his head"

"One? You mean several"

As the students talked about the chaos that had unfolded. Daniel has saw something the others didn't notice. When he held his fist that was about to hit the student in the face. He could see something. Vinjin was shaking. At first he thought it was anger that made him shake like that, but after looking closely he could see that it was panic. fear even. Vinjin was panicking and in fear and that couldn't just be because of his glasses.

As Daniel wanted to followed him, toward the direction where Vinjin had disappeared. he was grabbed by the shoulder again.
"Daniel? Where are you going?" asked Vasco when he saw his friend heading toward the exit. "Um, I just remembered that I left something in the classroom. I'll be right back" he said quickly in response before any further questions were asked. And then he was out of the cafeteria.

"You're a monster, don't forget that"

"No one has eyes like yours"

"No wonder his mother killed herself. If I had given birth to a monster like that, I would have done the same."

MONSTER!!!!

"You will always be a monster. No one would accept you like that."

Man could hear a loud bang as he kicked the door open to the boys' restroom and stormed in. Luckily, no one was inside at the time. Vinjin pace back and forth raging.
'What would they know?! He attacked me?!' He looked at his reflection out of the corner of his eye. Thanks again to Mary's quick reaction, no one could have seen it. He went over to the sink and turned on the water. He needed to cool down; a little cold water would help. He took off his glasses and placed them next to the sink. As he washed his face and then looked back up, he saw his younger self before him. Before everything happened. So weak, too weak to protect the people around him that he loved.
"Fuck!" He splashed water on his face. Those memories will never leave him alone as long as he lives.

But while he was lost in thought, he didn't notice that the door opend and someone came in. "Vinjin?" a soft voice asked and without really thinking, he automatically looked in the direction were the voice come from. It was Daniel.

After leaving the cafeteria, he lost sight of Vinjin. He had to ask a student if he had seen Vinjin and where he had gone. The student showed him that he had gone to the boys' restroom. Daniel thanked him and headed toward where Vinjin had gone. When he reached the restroom, he called out to Vinjin. "Vinjin? Are you in there?" he asked to get an answer, but there was none. "Vinjin, are you okay?" he asked next, again no answer. "I'm coming in now," he said when he got no answer back again.

And so we're back to the moment when Daniel entered the restroom. "Vinjin, are you okay?" He approached Vinjin slowly, but before he could approach him any further. He was grabbed by the collar and pressed against the wall.
"Have you never heard of knocking, Park?! You-"

"Your eye" Vinjin froze. His eye? He touched his face to see what he meant. When he didn't feel anything, he knew what Daniel meant. He wasn't wearing his glasses. they were still lying where he had left them. Which means he saw it, he saw his eye. Panic filled his mind and he let go of Daniel. He was just about to reach for his glasses when he was grabbed by the wrist. Not roughly but lightly and gently. And he knew that hand very well; it belonged to Daniel. He turned his head around to shout at Daniel, but his voice caught in his throat when he saw his expression. He saw many looks when they first saw his eye, but this was new. They didn't look disgusted, but.... concerned?

"Everything okay, Vinjin?"

"You're shaking" Only now does Vinjin realize how much he was shaking. He wanted to push Daniel out and to tell him, If he ever tells anyone about this, he will kill him.
But that stuck in his throat too. All that came out instead was a quiet "Why?" Daniel was confused for a moment.
Did he mean, why was he worried? But his question was answered bevor he could have ask. 

"Why is your expression so different?"

"My expression? What's wrong with it?"

"It looks so-... worried."

"Of course I'm worried. You're shaking like crazy, and it's not out of anger"

So many questions were running through his head. Why didn't they look like the others? Why was he worried about him? Why? "Aren't you disgusted by me?" That surprised Daniel a little. "Disgusted by you? Why should I be?" Now he was even more confused. "I'm actually more fascinated by it" he said honestly. Which surprised Vinjin even more. He was fascinated? By his eyes? "I've never seen an eye like that."

He approached Vinjin to get a better look, and Daniel took Vinjin's face in his hands. Overwhelmed, Vinjin took a step back, where he was wedged between the sink and Daniel. Daniel then asked many questions. Had it been like this since birth? Could he see well with it? Did either of his parents have an eye like that? But all these questions completely passed Vinjin by. All he focused on was. How damn handsome Daniel is. Like, breathtakingly handsome. Black hair styled in a way that enhanced his good looks even more. Long eyelashes that cast light shadows on his cheeks. Those eyes that looked like black diamonds. The kind that makes anyone fall in love. A gentle smile with very soft-looking lips. Was he wearing lip gloss? And if so, what flavor was it? Then the only question he hadn't asked yet popped into his head.

"you don't think I'm a monster?"

This horrified Daniel. "What— No, why would I think that of you?" "Because of my eye," Vinjin replied in a low voice. Daniel's voice softened at this.

"No, you are not a monster, you are something special."

He smiled at him gently. This surprised Vinjin, and when he saw the smile, God, it was loving. His face felt a little warm. He turned his head away so Daniel couldn't see his cheeks turning red. But Daniel already saw that and it made him laugh slightly. It was something new, to see Vinjin so embarrassed.

VinJin leaned against the sink and let Daniel continue touching his face. His hands are very soft and delicate; they don't look like those of a fighter. They held his face too lightly and lovingly, as if his face were something fragile that could break at any moment. While Daniel's hands were on his face, Vinjin's hands found themselves on Daniel's waist, pulling him closer. For how well-built Daniel is, he has a very small waist, which you just want to hold. "What you're doing is very dangerous" said Vinjin as he moved closer to Daniel's face. Their noses were almost touching. only centimeters apart. Only now did Daniel notice how close they were. He saw Vhinjin's eyes no longer meet his eyes, but rather look further down. He looked at his lips. His felt his face grow warm, and a light pink blush could be seen on his cheeks. But before Daniel could say anything, the door to the boys' restroom opened. "Vinjin? Are you okay? You've been gone so long that I—"

V"......"

D"......"

"Ooooooohhhh, am I interrupting something~?" asked Mary when she saw what was happening. Vinjin and Daniel practically jumped away from each other to get as much distance as they could. Both were now bright red with embarrassment. But then Mary noticed something: Vinjin wasn't wearing his glasses, which meant Daniel had seen it. But from the atmosphere, it was clear that Daniel didn't care what he saw. Still, Mary was ready to protect Vinjin. But as usual, before she could say anything, she was interrupted by the school bell. Which was a good sign for Daniel to quickly get away from here. "Sorry, I have to get back to class" and then he was gone.

Mary watched Daniel leave before looking back at Vinjin, who had already put his glasses back on. But you could still see how slightly red he was. "I'm not gay" was his first explanation. "Pfff—that didn't look like it to me" scoffed Mary automatically. But she refocused on the actual topic. "He saw your eye" she said  to Vinjin. It took a few seconds before he answered. "Yes" "And? How did he react?" she asked next. "He was worried at first... but later, when he saw it..." He paused briefly, which made Mary slightly nervous. "He was fascinated by it" said Vinjin, staring into the void, away from Mary. "I asked him then, if he thinks I was a monster"

"So? What was his answer?"

".....He said I'm not a monster and that I'm something special"

"I thought so" she said as she stood next to Vinjin.

"What?"

"We're talking about Daniel Park here, even I know he doesn't judge people by their looks" and that was true. Daniel never judges people by their looks, only by their actions and character. And that's what made Daniel so more popular.

"Master would had liked Daniel, if he would still be with us"

"Yea"

"Maybe even more"

"What?"

"I said you are stupid"

"You bitch!!!"
