A drabble about Nancy and Helen being in love and also Nancy being Autistic
this is my 2019th fic so here's a fic based on a 2019 movie

Nancy had always felt disconnected from other people. It often felt like others were speaking a whole other language, and she was rarely treated well for her quirks.
But, for whatever reason, Helen made her feel at ease. She could be herself around Helen and it wasn't an issue.
Helen noticed Nancy's quirks, of course, but she didn't mind them. Nancy was a clever girl with a good face to match.
She loved all of her.
