Summary
When seven-year-old Yuji meets Junpei, he doesn’t think much of it—until they become inseparable at ten. Junpei, a black-eyed kid (BEK), is always freezing, while Yuji's body burns unusually hot. Naturally, Yuji takes it upon himself to keep Junpei warm with endless cuddles and hand-holding.
One night, Yuji suggests they practice kissing—for future girls, of course. When "practice" escalates to more, Yuji still has no idea he’s got it bad for his best friend. Junpei, meanwhile, resigns his existence to what he believes to be 'unrequited' love. (The whole school sees it for what it is.)
