Chapter 1: One Bonded in duty
Chapter Text
One lone string,
By itself it cannot sing.
Add another to the lot
And you can do a lot.
Together they go
A world they tow.
They must reach the end,
No time for a friend.
A brother, a sister, a hope,
A master, a rival , a rope.
A fight not for life,
But to end one's strife.
Pain, hurt, and love,
A push, a final shove.
Defeat on the accords,
Of gaining new chords.
Respect is earned not given,
It's on this that a team is driven.
Four simple strings,
Each to serve the kings.
One chord is lost, one is found.
One us longing, and one is bound.
Words that rhyme and words that do not,
This is the story that you have sought.
Chapter 2: No more Liars or lovers
Chapter Text
Name the Snakes and worms,
They serve many terms.
It's the sympathetic and kind who fall,
Yet we blame them all.
One bird reads the world and learns,
Only they can stop what burns.
Quiet isn't cooperation,
Its domination.
A musician in trouble,
The world sees double.
Seeking revenge,
The chords will avenge.
A people a mass,
You don't fade, you pass.
Life and death,
A lack of breath.
Lighting and thunder,
The people start to wonder.
It all crashes down on a brother,
I hate you, says another.
Unmask the evil,
Show he is a weevil.
Not a songbird.
The room is quiet,
You can't hear the riot.
Just enough time to sneak a kiss,
And remember the ones we miss.
Words that rhyme and words that do not,
This is the story that you have sought.
Chapter 3: Lonely heart
Chapter Text
Last, four stings begin to bore,
And with six strings you can play even more.
Peace isn't real,
Put your blood on a seal.
Heroes, villians, and more
A shadow grows on the shore.
A traitorous seventh string,
What a curious thing.
Who put it there,
Did it form from air?
A separate instrument,
Far less permanent.
Run and hide,
I'm on your side.
Pointless death and loss,
What happened to the cross?
A leader, a traiter,
They stumble into a crater.
Brother dead, friends gone,
She sits in silence till the crack of dawn.
At least there is it,
They will not split.
Her heart goes out to those who have passed,
She will be back with all she has amassed.
Words that rhyme and words that do not,
This is the story that you have sought.
Chapter 4: Your Protector
Chapter Text
You see a ruler, a leader, a tyrant, a king,
He only cares for a single thing.
A sweet flower, that is masking pain,
The actions of its protector are all in vain.
A misunderstood man,
He is not without a plan.
There are hunters and hunted,
But he is not confronted.
Now back to the chord of six,
They will see through these tricks.
A closer look, an inspection,
In the mirror pool, a reflection.
A duel to the death, for honor and freedom,
But if the string dies, who will succeed him?
Cacophonous noise and the splintering of wood,
At last the villain removes his hood.
No, not a villain, just a man like you or me,
Nothing more than a protector, you see.
Not a fighter, a lover, a seventh string,
But after the hurt of the past there is no room for a king.
Instead, nothing more than a friend he will remain,
With power to assist them, but better still his brain.
Words that rhyme and words that do not,
This is the story that you have sought.
Chapter 5: My Shadow
Chapter Text
My my, what a world,
The one where machines whirled.
In the dark cracks and crevices,
A shady devil is.
They lie undetected, and still,
Waiting to go in for the kill.
Bright blue eyes and silky hair,
Why did no one ever care?
Evil rises and good falls,
The powerful build their walls.
A chord of six is stronger and cocky,
The shadow loves this and remains talky.
In the end who can stand against?
There was no danger to be sensed.
This is not over, no its just the start,
A journey to repair a broken heart.
Words that rhyme and words that do not,
This is the story that you have sought.
Chapter 6: I Human
Chapter Text
I see pain and loss,
But it's only from the boss.
The rest are not so touched,
They hold onto purses they clutched.
Not as strong as the evil and its magic,
They go on to make the story a little more tragic.
The chord is tested, burned, and split,
All falling into the web the evil has knit.
One string longing, goes of alone,
To the evil it will make itself known.
However, what it finds isn't wild,
Just a lost human child.
Can this be redeemed,
The string has dreamed.
So close and yet so far,
She will give the hunters a scar.
Ripped apart and left for dead,
What could be going on inside that head?
Words that rhyme and words that do not,
This is the story that you have sought.
Chapter 7: A Void
Chapter Text
A plan to fill the void in its heart,
It will start by tearing the worlds apart.
Sit alone,
On your throne.
Stare at the void,
Feel overjoyed.
Why do this now?
At least take your bow.
A plan perfected by two,
Can you guess by who?
A chord and a string,
No longer a bonded thing.
Run fight hide,
Who is on my side?
Power power power,
No longer a delicate flower.
Locked away,
Who will be the one to betray?
An enemy or a friend,
So is this really the end?
Run fight hide,
Time to choose a side.
To love or to lose,
Can you heal a bruise?
A final push, another shove,
Time to destroy this lonely dove.
Realization, and hurt,
Sacrifice and being burnt.
A name hidden in the text,
Now that she is gone, what comes next?
Peace is temporary, and memories last,
But why dwindle on things in a galaxy so vast?
Words that rhyme and words that do not,
This is the story that you have sought.
