Summary
Remus woke up with a sickening groan, the previous night hitting him like a train. The dirt under his bare skin itched violently, and the tacky, metallic liquid that pooled around his legs was a clear indicator of the transformation. The full moon had been bad this time, and Remus knew it. His previous discomfort was only amplified when he felt droplets of rain begin to wet his uncomfortably naked body, which should've been impossible in a cellar. Especially the one he had been placed in the night before, just like every full moon that had come before it.
But, there were no stone walls around him. No mangled cot in the corner, and no concerned teddy waiting by the door. In fact, the cellar was nowhere to be seen, and Remus was not inside of it.
Remus’s senses were heightened, and despite the agony of a very obviously dislocated shoulder that had become a near constant during his transformations back to being your average twenty-eight year old, he felt a horrifying sensation in the pit of his stomach. The wolf, still lingering in the depths of him, was satisfied; it’s pleasant rumble radiating through Remus as if it had buried itself into his soul.
Something was very, very wrong.
