Summary
His best friend asked him to promise just one thing: to look out for his daughter, his Samira, his one and only. There was nothing else that Robby could do but promise him that he’ll try his best.
Robby is thirty-five and his best friend is dead. Samira is crying in his arms and she’s leaving a damp splotch on his shirt. She doesn’t know this, but he promises her that he’s never going to let her down.
(Robby does his best by Samira to keep his promises, as her dead dad’s best friend. Like in most things, his best is not enough.)
