   Summary

   Van noticed Marya with her whistle between her teeth, trying to find a good time to get up and shout at the crew. She tried to smile again, but Marya just laughed and stood up.
   She blew the whistle as loud as she could- still far quieter than Van- and shouted. “Captain’s orders! Clean up from the battle and get to fucking work! Dinner needs to be ready in-” she checked her watch- “two hours!”

   or, van goes to death saves when she loses her arm. she passes, of course, but she still loses the arm. ms. vanellope 'that's the job of a boatswain' chapman has to let people take care of her.
