Work Text:
Max usually knows what to do. He has a plan for everything and tonight wasn’t different until the moment he stormed in the main bedroom and killed Toto Wolff with one perfectly aimed bullet. Then this perfectly prepared attack hit a snag. A living snag.
George was brushing his teeth after another brutal face fucking coming from his husband. His head hurts thanks to Toto violently tugging on his hair, but George knows he can’t complain. No one likes crybabies. That’s what Toto calls him most of the time. Crybaby, piggy or stupid cow are other names Toto uses, he barely uses George’s real name unless they are around other people. Only then when people can hear and see how Toto treats him, the older man forces himself to be a perfect husband. George can call him Toto or husband around other people, but God forbids if he forgets the correct name when they are alone. In the privacy of their home, George must address him as Sir. Nothing less, otherwise Toto gets mad and mad Toto is even worse than regular Toto.
So when George hears a muffled Bang! coming from the bedroom, he believes Sir is throwing things at the bathroom door to taunt him. He often does it. Sometimes Sir comes so fast toward him that George cowers and waits for a punch only for Toto to laugh like a maniac and calling him silly. Well, George isn’t silly, he just feels like a trapped animal whose cage is shaken to keep him on the edge and no matter how hard he tries, Toto always finds a reason to punish him so George spits out the toothpaste and hopes Toto doesn’t want more sex.
Max is staring on Wolff’s naked body. Toto Wolff has always looked so strong and powerful, Max remembers Toto smirking at him when he killed his father. Max didn’t love his father, but he was his heir and Toto stole everything from him. No saw Verstappen in a 13 years old boy and they joined Toto, but 15 years later, Max is on his way to fulfill his revenge. Everyone who betrayed his father is going to die. Well, his revenge is done, Toto Wolff was the last step, but now Max can’t stop staring at the lifeless body and the blood slowly pouring from a small black hole in the middle of Toto’s forehead. His expression is stupid, it froze somewhere between angry and surprised, his left arm is still gripping drawer pull of his bedside table, he tried to reach his gun, but Max was faster. The silent atmosphere is disrupted when someone opens the door on Max’s left.
Max’s hand holding the black Glock raises up on its own, it’s an automatic response but before he can pull the trigger, the door opens enough for Max to see the other person. It’s George. George Wolff.
George’s huge blue eyes widen. He stares on his husband’s dead body and then his eyes travel to Max and his gun. He doesn’t know much about Toto’s business, he only knows tidbits, but he knows Max Verstappen. Toto sometimes spoke about him with his business partners, but having Max Verstappen in their bedroom …. George isn’t sure if he should cry or hug him. George looks at Toto again, he still looks scary, even now when his body becomes cold and stiff, George expects Toto to jump up and force him on his knees. Toto never had a problem with fucking or abusing George in front of his business partners, he wanted to show how much power he holds in his calloused hands.
Meanwhile Max observes George. The young male is thin, too thin, because Max can count his ribs. He examines the purple bruises covering his ribcage and stomach, other finger-shaped bruises on his thighs and arms and only casts his eyes away when his gaze reaches the tiny lace thong covering George’s crotch. Max heard about Toto’s dinner parties … his stomach turns at the thought that it’s true. Max stares on the tips of his black sneakers and tries to figure out his next move. Luckily for him, George decides to solve it for him.
Max huffs in surprise when George pushes him aside. He stumbles, blinks in shock and then runs after George. This Italian villa is huge, but Max isn’t alone. Lewis hears rushed footsteps coming from the long hallway and he walks out of Toto’s office to find out what is wrong. Wolff’s almost naked husband isn’t the thing he is expecting. George yelps and bumps into him, but before Lewis can hold him down, George is running down the marble stairs. He is almost out of the villa, his naked feet him the cold stone steps leading on the endless driveway, when a pair of arms wrap around his waist. It’s Nico who manages to catch George and now he unceremoniously pulls him back inside and tosses him on the floor. With Nico standing between him and the front door, George has no other option than to try running in the kitchen or living room, from there he could get outside. Nico isn’t so fast, George is back on his feet despite his shaking form and dashes toward the living room. He yells in frustration when he finds another two men sitting there and drinking Toto’s expensive cognac. They immediately set their glasses down and slowly stand up.
George can’t breathe. More people enter the living room and George presses his naked back to the French window behind him. This is the end. Toto always promised that one day he will toss George to his men so they can have fun breaking him, but Toto was wrong about one thing - it won’t be his men breaking him, but Verstappen’s. George won’t beg. At this point, death will be salvation. George doesn’t know when did he start crying, but it’s okay, at least Toto can’t call him a crybaby because he is already dead. George sobs, hot snots are dripping down his face and he wraps his thin arms around his bruised ribcage. This is fine. This is the last time someone will hurt him. No more pain and humiliation, everything will end tonight.
George forgets about his epilepsy until his left arm starts twitching. They stare at him and soon his right arm starts flapping against his side. This is probably the best moment for a seizure. His seizures are quite strong, he usually faints so he hopes they will finish him while he is still unconscious. He knows it’s possible to have sex with his unconscious body, Toto always said it’s better because he is silent. The room tilts to one side, ohh, wait, no, the room is still the same, it’s George who collapsed on the soft carpet. This is fine. One last seizure and he will be out of this misery.
Max should be annoyed. George tricked him, he ran around the house and nearly escaped, but right now when his eyes roll in the back of his head and his body seizes on the floor … Max feels fear. That’s new, he stopped being afraid after his father died, but now he can’t stop fear raising inside his chest. He kneels next to George’s spasming body and carefully cradles his head.
“Do you think he took something!? George, what did you take?”
Carlos is the one who treats their wounds, but even he looks lost. George is having some kind of a seizure judging from the way his body shakes violently and foamy saliva escapes his mouth. Carlos can fix a smaller stab wound or stop bleeding from a gunshot wound, but this … there is no blood or gaping wound.
“Fuck fuck fuck. Charles! Check the bathroom!”
Charles tears his eyes away George and runs to fulfill Carlos’s order. The bathroom is big, but the marble counter is almost empty so it’s easy to spot a white pill bottle tucked between make-up products. He grabs it and runs back downstairs where he tosses the pill bottle to Carlos.
“Diazepam?”
Carlos isn’t a doctor, but even he knows when is Diazepam used. Is it possible that George suffers from epilepsy? They could ask him because the seizure is slowly ending, but then Max rolls him on his side and George promptly vomits. Saliva, water and bile leave his body in violent heaving together with urine, apparently his bladder gives up and George pisses himself. He doesn’t look like he mind it or feels it, he lies on the floor and gasps for air, but his eyes stay closed.
Max doesn’t want to stay here any longer. Toto is dead upstairs, George is unconscious and Max turns to Lewis.
“Did you open the safe?”
Lewis nods, they cleared the safe and loaded everything in the cars. Max looks around the room and spots two blankets laying on the leather couch. He points at them and Lando quickly hands them to his boss. Max uses the thinner one to clean George’s body before removing the soiled panties. He doesn’t look, he just pulls the flimsy fabric down before wrapping the other blanket around George’s thin body. No one protests when Max gathers George in his arms and stands up, only Nico and Lando stay behind to set the house on fire.
Lewis opens the car’s rear door for Max who nods in silent gratitude before climbing inside the large SUV. He checks on George whose breathing is a bit raspy but okay. Carlos gets in the car and presses two fingers to the side of George’s lean neck. He knows they need to get him in a hospital, but this is Recco in Italy, not Belgium, and Max’s power isn’t so strong. Mendrisio in Switzerland is their safest and nearest option, George could get treated in a private hospital in a few hours. Lewis is already driving, little pebbles and dust fly behind the speeding car and soon they leave the estate and reach a highway.
Max carefully cradles the lean body in his arms. The heating is on full blast, but George’s face and hands are turning bluish. Carlos gently rubs George’s cold hands between his while Max slowly brings his hand to the gorgeous unconscious face. Despite bruises around his eye and forehead, George is still beautiful. Older bruises wrap around his long neck and Max uses the tips of his fingers to carefully stroke the finger-shaped bruises. How could Wolff do this? Max runs his fingers across George’s pale cheeks, strokes the bridge of his nose and rubs the pad of his thumb across George’s left eyebrow. It’s hard to believe it, but Max swears he is holding the most beautiful human.
When they finally reach the hospital, Max barely notices it. Only after Carlos opens the door and cold wind rushes inside, Max lifts his head to scold him and sees they are in a little parking lot. Carlos wants to take George from Max’s arms, but Max protectively tightens his hold on the limp body. Two nurses and a doctor already wait for them, Lewis is standing aside and probably already took care of their discretion. The medical staff whisk George away, one of the nurses leads them in a private room where they can wait and as soon as they know something new, they will inform Max.
Charles immediately complains that this hospital room is bigger and nicer than his apartment and Carlos quickly shuts him up by reminding him that cleaning his filthy apartment could help. However, Charles is right - money can get you the best treatment and this room is one of the most luxurious. There is a room with a hospital bed and expensive equipment and a door blending into a wall leads in a bathroom with large bathtub and walk-in-shower. Sliding door made from grey glass separates the bedroom and large sitting room with kitchenette.
Max doesn’t care about their bickering, he stares out of the large window and hopes George is going to be okay. It takes hours before the doctor comes back and Max sends everyone away. Nurses are settling George in the bed and the doctor closes the door so they have privacy.
“His blood work shows very low level of diazepam, either he was pretty irresponsible with his pills, or he didn’t have enough of them. Do you know who is his neurologist?”
He realizes his question is pretty dumb, a random men carried an unconscious naked man in his hospital and he wonders if they know his neurologist? Dumb.
“He suffers from epilepsy, but it’s impossible to know what kind. If you want to we can examine him further after he wakes up. Unfortunately he had another two smaller seizures so he will be asleep for hours.”
Max shakes his head no. They won’t be staying for that long. He will allow George to rest for a while, but then they will be on their way back to Belgium. The doctor silently slips in the room to check on George and then they leave Max alone. Max sits on the couch for ten more minutes before he finally decides he needs to see George again. He was getting fidgety on the couch, but after seeing George’s peaceful face he immediately calms down. George looks much better. An oxygen mask is strapped over his nose and mouth and IV leads in his arms, but he looks better, more alive than he did in the car. Max gently squeezes George’s thin hand and smiles when George wraps his fingers around his. Max pulls a chair closer to the bed, he can’t let go of George. Max studies the perfect face in front of him until sleep claims him too, unaware of the battle going on inside George’s brain.
George doesn’t know why does Toto yell at him after each seizure. No matter if it’s a smaller one or a big one, Toto stands above him and yell.
“Don’t think you are getting out of this by throwing a fucking tantrum! You lazy fucking shit!”
George can barely breathe, he came around after a bad seizure only a few seconds ago, mucus and saliva flood his mouth, but he feels too weak to roll over on his side. George doesn’t understand why does Toto call his seizures temper tantrums. It’s his fault that George suffers from epilepsy, he didn’t choose to be beaten up so often and so brutally that his brain got damaged. It’s useless to argue with Sir.
“Fucking hell! Did you piss yourself?! You pathetic slut!”
George doesn’t move so Toto grips a fistful of his hair and yanks his head up.
“You are going to lick it clean! Do you hear me?! Every single drop!”
George barely registers Toto rubbing his face in the puddle of his own piss. He wants to yell in pain and frustration, but his brain is telling him to give up. Things are easier when he gives up and allows Toto to go berserk.
Suddenly Sir’s rough hands disappear. A pair of warm and gentle hands replaced them, hands which stroke his hair and slowly roll him on his side so he can spit everything out and vomit. The hands stay gentle, they don’t hesitate and keep stroking his back and rubbing his chest while he retches again and again. George doesn’t eat much, Sir calls him fat so he isn’t allowed to eat. He survives on water and occasional broth, so only liquid leaves his aching stomach. The hands run across his naked legs and the wet thing from around his crotch is removed. Something soft rubs against his skin and then it’s gone too, but soon something so fluffy and warm engulfs him and he is flying, streaks of light is passing above his head. They flicker and vanish only to appear again and vanish as fast as before. He must be flying. Clouds are rubbing against his skin, he is flying away from Toto, far, far away from Toto and no one can catch him because he is flying too high in the sky. Then a whisper reaches his ears, he doesn’t understand the words but it sounds reassuring. Light touches run across his neck and face, George isn’t sure if fingers or feathers touch him, but it doesn’t matter because the touch is gentle and warm. George feels weightless, wind is carrying him away from everyone and everything, maybe he will land on an island in the middle of nowhere where no one can find him and hurt him. Only the gentle soft feathers can stay, he needs someone to stroke his skin without hurting him, without demanding things.
George slowly blinks. He isn’t flying anymore, but the soft feathers stayed, they are loosely wrapped around his hand and George realizes the feathers are fingers. His head hurts and his vision is blurry, but he recognizes someone sitting in a chair next to his bed. The person is half sitting in the chair and half lying on the bed next to him and George doesn’t see their face, but he remembers the soft looking blonde hair. It belongs to the person who killed his husband, to the same person who stripped his piss soaked panties ….
George feels sick. Bitter bile is raising in his throat and he barely manages to sit up before it escapes his tightly sealed lips. The mafia boss sleeping next to him wakes up only to find vomits splashing a few centimeters away from his face. He quickly stands up and tries to touch George who flinches away. More people enter the room, George recognizes them from the villa. His breathing immediately quickens until a doctor appears and sends everyone away. They glare at the poor doctor who removes the dirty blanket and starts examining him. George glances toward the door and grabs the doctor’s wrist.
“You need to help me … they … my husband…”
Before the doctor can open his mouth, the door slides open so fast that they almost break. Max Verstappen is back and tosses a bag with clothes on the bed.
“Is he okay to travel?”
The doctor nods and refuses to look at George who watches his only hope leaving him alone with a maniac.
“Do you need help getting dressed?”
George is a bit dizzy. He hoped they will leave him here and disappear, but Verstappen is planning to drag him along. His hands shake when he reaches for the bag. Inside is a grey cashmere button-up sweater, black leggings and a pair of new UGG boots, but no underwear or socks. If they want to kill him, why did they spend hundreds on new clothes? George grabs the bag and stumbles in the bathroom while thanking gods that Max didn’t follow him. George stares at his reflection in the big mirror and gulps. His eyes are bloodshot, but his skin isn’t so grey anymore, he looks almost normal if you ignore the bruises covering his body. George would like to take a shower, but he isn’t sure if it’s allowed and he doesn’t want Max storming inside so he only soaks a towel in warm water and runs it across his skin.
Max is anxiously pacing the room and waits to George to get ready. Nico and Lando arrived a short time ago, they took care of the villa and Charles and Carlos left with them. Lewis is waiting in the car for Max and George, he will take them home. The doctor is back with many pill bottles of diazepam, the syringe with another medicine Max asked for is still hidden in the man’s pocket. They wait for George who opens the door after a few minutes. He nervously hovers near the door, as if he wants to hide inside, but then Max points at the couch.
“Doc wants to speak with you.”
George quickly slips next to Max who is standing in the doorway and sits down. His eyes are silently begging the doctor to do something, to call a police or something, but he refuses to acknowledge George’s wordless pleas. He starts explaining when and how much diazepam George should take, recommends seeing a neurologist and then holds out a syringe full of something. When he rolls left sleeve of George’s sweater up and rubs a little wipe across a spot on his forearm, George wakes up from his shock and tries to break free. Toto sometimes drugged him, he always said it’s something to help him with relaxing, but instead of relaxing George fell asleep and woke up sore and bleeding.
The doctor’s grip around his wrist stays strong and he finally looks at George before stabbing the needle in his arm.
“Just something to prevent another seizures before diazepam starts working.”
George yelps and silently cries while the drugs enter his body. He tries to smother his sobs with a hand over his mouth, but they don’t seem to mind. Max softly wraps his hand around George’s upper arm and pulls him on his feet. They leave the room, walk through the long corridors and finally step out of the building. A black SUV is already waiting for them and George looks around. No cops, no people, it’s too early in the morning and Max uses a bit of force to pull him inside the car. George catches the driver looking at him with a friendly smile, but he works for Max Verstappen, he can’t be a regular friendly guy. Max gets in the back of the car and George squeezes himself in the corner of his seat. They leave the parking lot and George looks outside. The car isn’t going fast, not yet but once they reach the highway they will speed up. Max is typing something on his phone and the other man is driving. This might be George’s last chance.
Lewis isn’t dumb. If George tried to run away last night while only wearing a pair of lace panties, then he will try it again. Lewis knows Max is only pretending being busy with something on his phone so when George reaches for door handle, they are both ready. George doesn’t manage to open the door, a loud click echoes in the car and the lock on every door is tightly sealed and the button which can open them again is in the front next to Lewis’s left hand.
Max grabs the back of George’s sweater and tugs on the soft cashmere.
“Did you really want to jump out of a moving car?”
George trembles in fear. Max’s hand is resting on the back of his neck, he isn’t using much force, but George freezes like a petrified rabbit.
“Don’t try that again, I don’t want to hurt you, but if you do such a dumb thing again, you are riding in the boot. Get it?”
George gulps and quickly nods so Max lets go of him. He squeezes himself against the cold tinted window and a palm goes up to cover his face as his breath hitches in a wet gasp. Then he gasps again and his other palm comes up, both hands covering his face as the tears start to fall. He is fucked. One Sir is dead and another is replacing him.
Before every important party for his best business partners, Toto comes with pills or syringes full of unknown drugs. George has two options - take the drugs without fighting or fight and get beaten up before the drugs are forced in his body. Usually it’s something to make him horny so Toto can put on a show consisting of George half-mad with lust begging him to fuck him. But tonight, tonight is different. Toto tosses the empty syringe on the bedside table and watches him with a hungry smile. George starts feeling light headed, he is thirsty, but Toto pushes him so he lands on his back.
“Don’t fight it, kitten. Just close your pretty eyes.”
George doesn’t like when Toto uses nice nicknames, it means something sinister is going to happen, but no matter how much George fights, the drugs pull him under.
When George opens his eyes, he finds himself sitting in the leather armchair in Sir’s office. Sir and other men are calmly speaking, each of them is holding a glass with some strong drink, but then Sir catches his gaze. Toto’s calloused hand cups his chin and George is forced to look up. He feels boneless and empty, he knows he should be panicking, but his brain is too slow to process everything around him.
“I promised you an exquisite reward and here it is. My little docile kitten, our own personal cum slut.”
George’s head lolls as if his neck forgets how to support it, and the men come closer. George finally notices his outfit - silver Mary Jane ballet flats, white stockings ending above his knees and sailor dress with puff sleeves. Sir dressed him like a sex doll.
George parts his dry lips in silent protest but no words leave his mouth, only drool escapes the corner of his mouth and Toto chuckles before he slips his thumb inside George’s mouth.
“Look at him, he is already drooling for your cocks.”
It takes a few minutes for George to become silent. Max asked the doctor for sedatives, just enough to knock George out until they reach Belgium and now the drugs start working. George’s body goes limp, but he isn’t unconscious, not fully. Max reaches toward him and gently lies George down on the spacious back seat with George’s head resting on his thigh. Max was probably rude and too harsh, he wouldn’t put George in the boot, he doesn’t want to hurt him but sometimes he chooses the wrong words and the things he says come out rude or aggressive. Right now it doesn’t matter, George is half asleep while Lewis drives to get them home before nightfall. They stop a few times - once to get gas and twice to use a toilet and get coffee and food. Every time Max needs to get out of the car, he strokes George’s hair and reminds him to be good and it’s no surprise that he stays silent and still. He wouldn’t be able to run even if he wanted to, not with the drugs still working.
They stop at McDonalds to get food, Max isn’t going to look for a better place, this fast-food is right next to the highway. Lewis is helping George to use the toilet while Max orders and then they meet in the car. Max hands Lewis a paper bag with his vegan burger and cup with cold Coca Cola before taking a bite of his burger. Max stuffs a few French fries in his mouth before opening the box with chicken nuggets he got for George, he is too out of it to eat a burger. Max places the box in George’s lap, but he doesn’t move to eat so Max picks one nugget and brings it to George’s lips.
George slowly blinks and stares on the chicken nugget, but makes no move to eat. Max rolls his eyes in annoyance - that stupid doctor gave him too much sedatives - and he gently pushes the nugget in George’s mouth. He finally starts chewing and Max goes back to his burger. Lewis finishes his burger in a few big bites and starts driving again, he wants to get home before dinner time so he could cook a proper meal.
George lazily chews and Max keeps feeding him nuggets and French fries. Max takes a cup of Sprite and guides the straw to George’s lips, he looks parched. George takes a few sips of the cold Sprite and coughs a bit. He uses the back of his hand to wipe his wet lips and crumbs before lying down again. George doesn’t fight when Max pulls him closer, his head is resting on Max’s thigh again and Max starts running his fingers through George’s greasy hair.
Max isn’t a virgin, but ….. he has never dated anyone. He has many one-night stands or favorite prostitutes, but dating, sharing his life with someone, Max has never experienced love because deep down he knows loving someone means you can lose them very easily. He isn’t even sure if he is capable of falling in love, but the feeling of overprotectiveness surges inside his chest every time he looks at George. The lean young man is almost peaceful, he occasionally flinches or frowns, but Max is there to stroke his forehead until the deep frown goes away.
Their journey goes by quickly and Lewis keeps his promise. The sun is slowly disappearing behind the horizon when they leave the highway and Max recognizes this narrow road - they are only a few minutes away from home. His house in Flemish Brabant is standing in the middle of nowhere with dense forests surrounding the house and its garden, but the city of Brussels isn’t far. It’s perfect for someone like Max who needs privacy but enjoy nightlife whenever he wants. Max doesn’t bother with waking George up. He waits for Lewis to pull up in front of the house and the driver unlocks the front door before opening the car door for his boss. Max gathers George in his arms and easily carries him inside. Lewis wishes him goodnight and leaves to finally go home to his boyfriend and dog. Max decides to carry George in the bedroom next to his room, he carefully lies him down on the soft bed and opens the closet to get another blanket so as not to jostle George trying get the duvet from underneath him. He takes George’s shoes off and rolls thick socks on his feet before tucking him under the soft blanket without George acknowledging they are no longer in the car. Max stops himself from kissing George’s forehead even if it hurts to refrain from doing so. He wants to feel George’s warm smooth skin on his lips, but it would be weird. Max killed his husband, he can’t violate George by kissing him when he is asleep and vulnerable, then Max would be the same abusive asshole like Toto. Instead of kissing his sleeping guest, Max heads downstairs.
He turns on the expensive silver coffee machine and stares on the black drops of espresso dripping in a little cup. His sister bought it for him before they stopped speaking. The cup has a little lion painted on the bottom and she made it for him. This little cup means so much for Max, it’s a reminder why he chased his sister away. No one can stay too close to him, she deserves a normal life and if she had stayed, something terrible would happen to her because of the Verstappen’s curse. Max can carry the curse, but only on his own.
He takes a sip of the black coffee and stares outside. The garden outside is pitch black, he can only see his own reflection in the huge windows and it calms him down a bit. Toto Wolff is dead. His revenge is done, but Max feels empty. He tries to persuade himself that he took George to protect him, but what if he took him because he knew this heavy loneliness is going to come? Max pours the rest of his coffee in the sink and opens the fridge.
“Fucking hell…”
When he told Charles to prepare the house, he didn’t mean Charles needs to clear out a fucking supermarket. Charles went a bit crazy with his black American Express card. While Max doesn’t mind eating the same dinner 10 days in a row, but Charles bought everything George would like or need. The fridge is full of fruits, every possible yoghurt and fizzy drink Charles managed to find, he even bought chocolate milk. Max opens the freezer and pre-made meals almost fall out right on his feet. The pantry is also overflowing with food, there are even vegan and vegetarian options. Max finally notices a long receipt stuck to the fridge with a magnet Max bought on his business trip in Japan. Charles even drew a little smiley face next to the sum.
“Fuck you, Charles.”
Max angrily closes the fridge, but then opens it again to grab a Kinder milk-slice. He paid for it so why not? Max heads back in his bedroom, but then decides to check on George. He is still asleep, but he curled into a tight ball. Max decides to call it a night and silently closes the door of his bedroom while thinking about cooking breakfast for George.
George wakes up thirsty and disoriented. This isn’t their bedroom in the villa. And then he remembers …. Max Verstappen killed his husband, drugged him and …. and now he is in Max’s house. After Max played with his hair for hours and fed him chicken nuggets. This can’t be true. It’s a game, Max is playing mind games with him just like Toto. Toto enjoyed treating him well for a day or two until George believed the man changed only to get beaten up for no reason.
George can’t stay in the house, not with Max Verstappen who has killed dozens of people is sleeping in the room next to him. How long will it take Max to realize he is an annoying liability? Three days, one week? And then what? Will he get a gun and shoot him like he shot Toto? George refuses to be sold to another older man, no, he is going to disappear before Max can hurt him too. George has nothing, only the clothes Max gave him, but no shoes. He doesn’t want to waste time finding a pair of shoes, he sneaks out of the house wearing warm socks and runs until he reaches the trees surrounding the garden.
He is doing it! He is running away! George remembers what Toto did when he tried to run away a few weeks after their wedding, but this is different. No dogs and men are running behind him, he doesn’t hear Toto’s voice mocking him when he lay on the floor of their bedroom with his husband towering above him. No. This cold night is silent. White clouds of breath drifts from his mouth, but George doesn’t stop. His socks and hems of the pants are wet, soaked thanks to the first autumn snow, but George keeps walking. The forest is pretty dark, trees are occasionally covering the silver moon which is his only source of light, but George can’t slow down. His feet are slipping, his knees are shaking and he shivers in cold, but he forces himself to speed up. If he wants to survive, he needs to get away from Verstappen. Toto’s dead eyes are burnt in his memory, he doesn’t want to end like that. He survived years of abuse, he can’t die because another powerful man decides about his fate. George doesn’t know why he is crying. Maybe he loved Toto, maybe it was easier to live with the danger he already knew. It doesn’t matter, he must hurry before Max realizes he is gone, he must find someone, he must find help …. suddenly his feet slip on the wet dead leaves and George falls down. He lands right on his aching wrist, the one Toto broke for fun and George bursts into hysterical tears. What is he doing?! How can he survive on his own? Okay, he will find help and then what? He is going explain how Verstappen killed his husband and Toto’s angry business partners will get to him before he can disappear. Toto was important for many dangerous people, a few of them have already tasted him and Toto often joked he will give them George if he keeps misbehaving. George’s stomach turns and he vomits. He can’t let that happen! He remembers Horner, Horner who joked making George his pretty girl, he knew too much about vaginoplasty to be just joking. Where can he hide from someone like Horner? He is a fucking politician, if George goes to a police station, he will find out and come for him. George clutches his aching wrist and thinks about his options. Leaving and falling right in Horner’s hands? Or staying with Max and find out what horrors he will do to him? George slowly gets on his knees, he can barely feel his toes and he stands in the dark forest for a while before turning back.
Max was thirsty, he went to get a glass of water, but then he noticed the door of George’s bedroom being wide open. He stormed in the room and found the bed empty and cold so he ran around the house for some time trying to find George in case he is hiding somewhere. When Max realized George is somewhere outside, he immediately called Nico, Alonso and Charles. They need to find George! What if he is hurt somewhere in the forest? What if he is freezing to death while Max waits for his men to arrive? Something moves in the dark garden, Max sees it move out of the corner of his eye. George. He is staggering toward the house, but freezes when he spots Max standing in the kitchen.
Great. Max caught him sneaking out and now George will find out what the man can do. Maybe he will get drugged again, he didn’t wake up raped but that could change. George slowly walks across the patio and slides the door open. He closes his eyes and hears Max’s rushed steps and obediently waits for his punishment, he is awaiting slaps and punches not two warm hands gently cradling his face. Max tilts his head back and George gulps. Nothing happens. No pain, no screaming or threats. Just two thumbs rubbing his cold cheeks.
“Are you hurt?”
Max sounds … worried? It must be another game, but George slowly opens his eyes only to find Max’s genuinely concerned eyes staring at him. George gulps. Okay, this is new. Toto would be already choking him or throwing him in the dark and cold basement, but Max … he stays calm.
“You are shivering. We should get you in a warm bath.”
George yelps in surprise when Max lets go of his face and tugs on his wet pants. George crosses his naked legs to shield his manhood, but Max is already holding his hand and gently tugs on it. George hangs his head in shame, he feels like a little kid being scolded by their nanny and he follows Max.
Max enters George’s room and opens the bathroom door. The bathroom’s floor and walls are adorned with slabs of white marble with grey streaks, opposite the freestanding oval bathtub is a long double vanity made from matching marble and Max notices a pile of soft big towels and a basket full of cosmetic products waiting on the counter - Charles can be thorough when he wants to. They won’t need the large frameless glass shower which occupies the far end of the bathroom, Max turns the golden faucets and warm water is quickly pouring in the tub. Max explores the basket until he finds a bar of honey soap and a soft washcloth. He hesitates for a moment, but then he unwraps a Levander bath bomb and drops it in the water. George hoped Max will leave, but then man is standing in the bathroom and calmly rolls the sleeves of his pajama top. George hurriedly strips, he tosses the sweater on the vanity and slips in the bathtub. He pulls his knees to his thin chest and hugs his legs to make himself invisible. It’s impossible to know if Max will only bath him or molest him.
Max dips the washcloth in the warm water and rubs the bar of soap against the fabric. George flinches a bit when Max rubs the cloth against his back, but Max shushes him. It’s a soft noise, barely audible, but George hears Max isn’t mocking him. Toto shushed him when he cried during sex, it was always painful because Toto didn’t believe in stretching him or using some lube, but when Toto shushed him it always sounded mocking. But Max … he is really shushing him to calm him down. George is becoming sleepy. Running away in the cold weather and his little breakdown exhausted him and the warm water together with Max’s soft touches doesn’t help with keeping him awake.
Max is careful around the bruises covering George’s body. He notices a few scars, but doesn’t ask. He is only washing George, nothing more. Max gently raises George’s left arm and washes the slender limb before doing the same with his right arm. He runs the washcloth across George’s sunken in stomach and accidentally brushes against his groin. George immediately tenses, his thin fingers grip the bathtub’s edge, but he holds still. He doesn’t fight, doesn’t push Max’s hand away. He just sits there with his eyes closed and waits. Max feels sick. What was he thinking? That one warm bath is enough for George to relax? He lets go of the washcloth and clears his throat before standing up.
“Towels are on the counter, be careful getting out of the bathtub. I am going to get some pajamas for you.”
With that Max runs out of the bathroom and George opens his eyes for a tiny bit. He is really alone. Max is the weirdest man he has ever met. George was expecting rough hands exploring his body, but the second he got uncomfortable, Max simply left. George washes his legs and hair before draining the bathtub. He wraps one big towel around his waist and throws another one over his shoulders and then finally steps out of the bathroom.
Max needed a few minutes to calm down, but then he grabbed a pair of fleece socks and his favorite burgundy pajama set made from thick warm flannel before going back. George is standing there wrapped in towels and water drips from his wet hair.
“Let me fetch the hairdryer.”
George nods and watches Max leaving the room before he jumps toward the bed. He doesn’t bother with drying his body, he quickly puts the pajama on and sits down at the little table which is standing under a window overlooking the garden. George flinches when Max turns the hairdryer on, but then Max’s gentle fingers comb his wet hair and he closes his eyes. This is nice. Max is careful, he doesn’t tug on his hair, his fingers comb the wet strands and the warm air is only comfortably warm, not scorching. George is half asleep by the time Max turns it off and he stumbles toward the bed. Okay. He is sleeping in the house with his husband’s murderer, but why is he feeling safe? It makes no sense. Nothing makes sense since the moment he opened the bathroom door and found Toto dead. Why is Max taking care of him? Why did he get medicine for his epilepsy, why did he feed him, bath him … why does he care? No one, not even his parents, cared about him like this. George frowns when Max silently slips in the room, the man brings a glass of water which he places on the bedside table before tucking the blanket around him. George’s eyelids are too heavy, sleep is quickly claiming him and the last thing he sees is Max grabbing the thick socks and rolling them on his feet.
Max didn’t sleep well. He kept waking up and when he was awake he believed George is too silent, that he maybe ran away again so he had to get up and check on him only to find him fast asleep so he went back in his own room, but this stupid cycle repeated almost every hour and now Max is dead on his feet. It’s only 6 in the morning and Max is already standing in the kitchen sipping on his second espresso while staring outside. Everything is grey. Trees are bare, only conifer trees kept their green coats. The outdoor swimming pool is empty and the tennis court is covered with black tarp. The sky is pale and heavy with dark clouds and fog is seeping out of the forests around the house, but Max can’t bring himself to hate this season. His friends often tell him to travel and spend European winter in a tropical country. Yeah, it gets lonely. Soon Christmas will be everywhere, but maybe …. just maybe, he won’t spend it alone again.
Suddenly he hears soft steps on the staircase and he turns around. George is standing there, his soft curly hair sticking in every possible direction, but he looks better, well-rested and less scared. He is even wearing the fleece robe Max left on his bed.
“Morning …?”
George isn’t sure about Max’s rules. He had a small panic attack while deciding if he should stay in the bedroom or go downstairs, but he didn’t want to be alone because the room was too quiet and somehow …. he heard Toto. George knows he sounds crazy, Toto is dead, but when he was alone he swears he heard Toto whispering something. He didn’t understand the words, but it was Toto’s voice. Facing Max is better than being alone with his memories.
Max only smiles at him and says Morning in a weird chirpy voice before turning around and opening the fridge.
“Do you want a fruit salad? Charles bought too much, soon it will rot. And tea, maybe?”
George is stunned, but nods. Max gets two bowls and fills each with chunks of pineapple, strawberries, oranges and mangoes before he slides one bowl toward George.
“Thank you.”
George peeks at Max from behind his bangs and sees the man smiling again. Max places a cup full of hot and sweet tea in front of George and finally sits down. They eat in silence, they barely look at each other until Max’s phone starts ringing. Max excuses himself and leaves before answering the phone and George can’t help himself, but listens.
“I don’t know ….. Charles, shut up…..yeah? I am the boss, I can call you whenever I want to……no, he came back ….I don’t know, I can’t leave him alone……tell Valtteri to come….we will go through the documents together.”
George quickly jumps away from the door leading in the hallway, he grabs his empty bowl and just when Max opens the door, George turns the water on and starts washing the dish. His hands are trembling, but Max doesn’t notice. He even thanks George for washing his bowl and cup too.
“I need to work for a few hours, but there is a small library or you can watch a movie. I could find swim shorts for you and you can try out the indoor swimming pool.”
George quickly shakes his head no, there is no way he will wear only shorts around Max. Max leaves him alone and George catches a glimpse of the man who must be Valtteri. He is … weird but in a funny way. His clothes … did he arrive on a bike? And his blonde mullet …. at least one guy who doesn’t look like a threat.
George wanders around the big house.
This is how I imagine Max’s house and because I am lazy here is a link:
It’s clear Max lives alone and George finds it weird because, well, Max is kind of hot. There are unused bedrooms, storage rooms and when George starts looking for the library, he stumbles into his personal hell. This room isn’t a library, it’s …. just Toto. Pictures of Toto with his business partners, Toto with him, Alex with him, his medical records, pictures of Toto with Kimi. They are kissing, holding hands, hugging, shopping, sunbathing on a fucking yacht … all while George was locked in Toto’s house in Berlin. So that’s where Toto put all his love? Kimi?! Fucking Kimi!?
George felt that Kimi could be his friend. Toto doesn’t want to let him out of the house, but Kimi, as Toto’s assistant, can come and go. George hoped they could be friends until the day he was betrayed. Toto said he will be gone for 4 days because of an important business in Japan and George believed him. George believed he has one more day until his husband returns, but damn, he was wrong. Kimi said nothing about Toto flying back home from Japan a day earlier. George just wanted to see his friend. He was locked in the house for the whole week Toto was in Japan, he just wanted to see Alex. Just one afternoon… and Toto was already waiting for him when George came back. When he laid his eyes on Kimi, he knew Kimi did it on purpose. Kimi stood there smirking when Toto slapped him around, he stayed when Toto grabbed his hair and dragged him through the house. He waited outside George’s bedroom when Toto punched him and kicked him until he was lying on the floor praying for death.
George believed Kimi did it for fun, that he wanted to torment him like other people, but the truth is much worse. He remembers every moment when Kimi made it seem like George fucked up so Toto could beat him, starve him …. George wasn’t angry when Max killed his husband, he wasn’t angry when Max drugged him, but now … he goes berserk. George doesn’t care that some of his nails are breaking, he scratches the walls covered with pictures and screams like a banshee while tearing the pictures apart. Of course that Max and Valtteri hear him and run to see what is happening.
George is like a wild animal. He is howling in pain while breaking more nails until the tips of his fingers bleed. Pieces of photos are flying everywhere and Max gulps.
“Fuck … I told Charles to get rid of these.”
He will punch Charles for causing this, he told him to destroy everything in the room! Fucking Charles got distracted with TikTok again!
Max thinks that George will exhaust himself pretty soon, maybe it will be a good thing to let him rage and scream, but then George goes silent and still as if someone pressed a switch. He stares on some pictures sticked on the wall, but Max can’t see what pictures.
When George throws himself against the wall, Max understands. George found the evidences of his own abuse. Max felt sick when Valtteri somehow got these photos and videos. Photos and videos from Toto’s famous little parties with George being the main entertainment. Photos of him sitting impaled on Mazepin’s cock while being barely conscious. Photos where Fred Vasseur holds his hair and tugs his head up to stare in the camera with his face covered with semen. There are so many photos, each one is worse, each shows how George gradually died inside until nothing left inside his eyes.
George feels the seizure quickly coming. It’s like a wave which is pushing him down on his knees and he doesn’t even realize he is collapsing on the carpet until two strong arms catch him and carefully lie him down. George’s back arches while his feet dig in the carpet. Every muscle and vein become prominent and his jaw painfully locks while he violently spasms on the floor. Max runs in George’s room, the doctor gave him a medicine just for cases like this. It’s a nasal spray because right now George needs his medicine and can’t swallow. Max tries to be gentle while inserting the tip of the nozzle into George’s left nostril and presses the plunger. Nothing happens for a minute, but then George’s body slowly relaxes and the seizure is over. Max carefully picks George up and tells Valtteri to leave before calling Charles. He will take care of George and then he will deal with Charles.
George’s glassy eyes are staring into nothing while Max carries him in his bedroom. Max sets him down on the bed and hurries to get his first aid-kit and two wet towels. He uses one to clean George’s wet crotch and then uses the clean one to wipe his snotty face. George is still out of it, he only softly whimpers, but doesn’t move or speak. He doesn’t even look at Max while he cleans the wounds on his fingers. Max slowly treats the broken nails before pressing a soft kiss to each of George’s long fingers. Fuck it, he will kiss George because he needs to know he isn’t alone. After he is done, he covers George with a warm blanket and goes to wait for Charles.
Poor Charles has no time to react when Max slaps him across his face. And then again and again, but Charles doesn’t protest. He won’t admit there was a party last night so he left the house without getting rid of everything from that room. His punishment is the most humiliating thing - he will be Max’s driver. Not bodyguard, but only a driver. Charles swallows his pride, he knows Max could also break his hands for being lazy.
Max doesn’t care about Charles anymore, he makes a smoothie with lots of strawberries and carries the tall glass with a straw in his bedroom. Max’s heart squeezes when he sees George curled up in his bed, in his pajama. He belongs there. George is still asleep so Max lies down next to him and strokes George’s soft curls. He feels as if George is a fragile porcelain doll, one wrong touch and he will break, but it’s okay. Max can be slow and gentle for him. Max doesn’t realize he fell asleep until a muffled sob wakes him up. George.
The petite man is hugging his knees and silently cries while glaring Max.
“Why did you have the pictures? How did you get them?”
Max slowly sits up and shrugs. His men got the pictures and back than Max didn’t know George. George sniffles and uses the long sleeves of the pajama shirt to wipe his cheeks.
“I felt there is something between them … but … I was 19 when we got married, I don’t know, I just believed he loved me a tiny bit. And Kimi …”
Max heard about the wedding - 19 years old George and 35 years old Toto. George’s father owed Toto a lot of money and George was the payment, the payment Toto personally requested.
“You shouldn’t have been there. In Italy. I was expecting Toto and Kimi. Not you.”
George scoffs and unwraps his arms from around his knees.
“Why does it matter? I am glad Toto died, but what will happen now? You will lock me in a different cage, but it will feel the same.”
Before Max can say something, George gets up from the bed and leaves without looking back. Max lets him because he can be gentle and slow for George. He will give him space.
Apparently giving George space means listening to his cries every night. George doesn’t leave his room, Max brings him meals and snacks, books and an iPad, but George stays curled up in the middle of the bed and barely moves. It feels as if he decided to die. As if he can’t live anymore after years of fighting. George lies there and slowly wastes away. During the eight night when Max can hear him crying and whimpering, he decides to stop it. He was patient and gentle, but this ends now!
George doesn’t even lift his head when Max storms in the room, but he doesn’t need to because Max grabs him under armpits and forces him to sit up.
“Do you really want to die like this? Because that’s what is going to happen, you are rotting alive and why? Because fuckers like Mazepin thinks they are untouchable! And if you die you will prove him right. If you allow yourself to disappear, men like Toto and Mazepin will win again!”
George doesn’t have the force necessary to push Max away so he sits with Max’s hands cradling his face and faces the man who is trying to give him a pep talk. George’s anger crumbles, he is too exhausted to be mad at Max or Kimi or everybody who hurt him. He is so tired. He wants to close his eyes and never wake up, but Max has a different opinion.
“First I will bath you and then we are going to eat and figure out how to help you.”
George weakly protests when Max picks him up, but when he is sitting in a warm bath, he stops crying. Max washes him, but stops before reaching his waist and George is glad for that. George washes his private parts and legs while Max washes his hair and then he is wrapped in a thick bathrobe and carried in Max’s bed. The man tucks him under many blankets as if George is freezing to death and leaves for a few minutes before he comes back with a bowl full of warm chicken broth. George’s arms are trapped under the blankets, but he doesn’t need to squirm out of the warm nest because Max takes the spoon and starts feeding him. George occasionally turns his head away, but Max always coaxes him into eating more until the bowl is empty. George is quickly falling asleep and then Max leans closer to him and whispers: “Small steps, okay? We will get there.”
George didn’t know “small steps” mean a therapist. A therapist who definitely has some kind of beef with Max which is kind of funny because Max is supposed to be the scary mafia boss and now the new guy teases him and Max runs away in frustration.
“Hello, I am Nico and you must be George.”
George’s small smile disappears when the therapist turns his attention to him. George is curled up on the couch in the living room and pulls another blanket over his chest before nodding.
“Max is a petulant toddler, don’t you think?”
Nico sits down next to George who tries to hide his smile.
“Yeah, he is pretty stubborn.”
George shouldn’t have said that because now Nico studies his face.
“Sometimes being stubborn is the only thing that is keeping you alive.”
George scoffs: “What do you know about fighting for your life?”
He doesn’t know why he said that, he doesn’t want to be rude but Nico looks healthy and happy, and judging from the diamond ring he is also married. While George is sick with the chance of having a seizure and pissing his pants. So what does Nico knows about being stubborn?
“Lewis and my stubbornness are the reason I am still here …. I used to work as a psychologist, but then … my ex-patient, who suffered from schizophrenia, raped me. He waited until I was leaving my office and he raped me on the backseat of my own car. And when I tried to kill myself, twice actually, I lost my license because I was unfit to help anyone.”
Nico looks away from George and gulps before continuing: “So I know how does it feel when other people try to erase you. And it might sound like a cliché, but Lewis saved me. He took care of me until I started speaking again, until I ate a full meal again and he never asked for anything back. His love and care isn’t selfish. It’s unconditional.”
Nico nervously rubs his hands together and George catches a glimpse of scars on his wrists.
“I don’t know why did Max call me. I am not okay, there are still days when I struggle and don’t leave the bed. This is like the blind leading the blind.”
Nico feels dumb. When Max called him, he believed he can help George, but it’s a big, bad joke. He is unfit to help other people, he is fucking useless …. and then George grabs his hand and Nico stops spiraling.
“I hear my dead husband’s voice …. sometimes it feels as if he is hiding under the floor or in walls.”
They stare at each other until Nico starts remembering how to be a therapist. They speak about everything. About Toto, Max, Lewis, about Nico’s rape and George’s traumas until Nico starts asking if George has some hobbies or things he enjoys.
“I am not good at anything. You studied, worked …. I am not smart, I am just a … thing for people to use and toss aside when they are done.”
Nico frowns: “So do you want to go back to school?”
George shrugs: “No … I mean maybe…. I don’t know. Learning new things was never my thing.”
But then he remembers one thing he actually liked doing and he was good at it.
“I loved baking with grandma. We baked almost every Sunday, but she died when I was 12.”
George suddenly remembers her recipes and the warm feeling he had after successfully creating delicious things from scratch. When grandma died, he tried baking on his own, but he always ended up crying and missing grandma and when he tried baking with mom, she got worried about George getting fat. How could he forget about baking? It was the only time his brain shut up and George relaxed. So that’s what he do the very next day after Max left. He said he is coming back in a few hours, he offered George that he could call Charles or Nico so he wouldn’t be alone, but right now George wants to be alone. Charles and Nico are nice, but George needs a few hours of privacy without anyone.
After Max’s car disappears behind the tall trees and hedges, George makes himself a cup of hot tea and goes in his bathroom. He shaves his legs, private parts and the fine small hairs in his armpits - a habit his mom taught him because every man wants a perfect, dainty lover, not some hairy monster. Then he cleans his room a bit, loads the washing machine and hangs the few pieces of clothing he owns. Max insists on George using his computer to shop - clothing, books, decorations for his room, he wants George to make a safe space in his house, but George still prefers the old books from Max’s library and the man’s clothes he steals from his closet. George won’t admit that wearing Max’s clothes makes him feel safer, he feels like a puppy who is getting used to its new owner, so he goes to steal another hoodie and soft baggy track pants before he heads in the kitchen.
George isn’t sure if he can still bake, but he opens the new iPad and looks for a recipe. After a short search, he decides to bake a strawberry tart. It feels weird baking in complete silence so he plays one of Taylor Swift’s albums and starts baking. Time is quickly flying, George is too preoccupied with baking to think about anything else and he finally relaxes. He even smiles after pulling the tart out of the oven and seeing it’s perfect. He snaps a quick picture and sends it to Nico before he starts cleaning the kitchen. He is washing the dishes when he realizes what made him so happy about his tart being picture perfect - he baked it as a treat for Max.
Max keeps his word, he arrives back after five hours and carries a paper bag with take-out boxes full food from his favorite Chinese restaurant. George opens a box with Chow mein and slowly eats while peeking at Max. Baking a cake for Max was dumb. Max is a mafia boss, a killer, and George baked him a cake.
“Do you want ice cream?”
George flinches, he didn’t realize Max finished dinner and now he is standing up.
“Ice cream, you know that’s the cold sweet thing.”
Max chuckles and he is about to go and get his favorite chocolate one, but then George shoots up from his seat and offers he can get it. He doesn’t wait for an answer, he runs in the kitchen and stares on the strawberry tart. He already made it, he can’t eat the whole thing on his own before it goes bad, so giving a large piece to Max is the only logical solution. It has nothing to do with Max having a sweet tooth. George cuts the tart and moves two pieces on small plates before heading back in the dining room.
Max frowns in confusion. Where did George get a cake? George sees his confused look and blushes before explaining he made it. Max stares on it. It’s perfect. The golden crust, vanilla cream and thinly sliced strawberries on the top, the strawberries are glazed with a thin layer of warmed apricot jam …. it’s perfect.
“You made this on your own ….. for me?”
George blushes and hides his hands in the long sleeves of Max’s hoodie before nodding. Max takes the small silver fork and carefully cuts in the soft piece. George watches how Max closes his eyes, he even moans while slowly chewing. It’s delicious, sweet but the strawberries are juicy and slightly tart. However, it suddenly turns into ashes because there is something Max needs to say and it keeps him on edge.
“I am sorry for violating your privacy, the pictures … I probably needed a reason to hate Toto even more and seeing him treating you that way…”
George is silently staring at Max. Toto, well, no one, has ever apologized. They treated him as if he didn’t feel pain or fear, as if he was a thing, but Max’s apology is honest. They look at each other for a few silent moments, but then George leans closer. Maybe it’s the beer Max offered him before dinner, he didn’t say no because he didn’t want to be rude, maybe it’s the way the apricot jam clings to Max’s pink lips, but George can’t stop himself. He leans closer until his lips brush against Max’s and he feels the man’s tongue running over his lower lip. Max’s tongue is warm and sweet when it slips between George’s lips, George leans even closer, he is almost sitting in Max’s lap, but then Max places his hands on George’s hips and the man pulls away.
“Sorry … I am…. tired, sorry.”
George turns around and runs out of the room leaving confused Max alone with the tart and half-hard manhood.
They don’t speak about that evening, they pretend it didn’t happen. October turns into November and George fits in so well as if he is meant to be around Max. He is quiet and shy, but he doesn’t scatter away when Max is around. They often sit in the library, each sits in their own armchair and read or Max joins George in the living room and they can watch a movie or a TV show. George doesn’t want to think, he needs to force his brain to be silent, so he mostly watches movies for kids. Tonight he settles on Shrek, but this time he waits until he hears Max’s Valkyrie coming down the driveway and only when the engine stops, he plays the movie. They heat up some of the pre-made meals and eat in front of the TV. When Shrek ends, Max takes the remote and chooses another movie.
George barely watches it, it’s quite boring, but then an unexpected sex scene fills the screen of the huge flat TV screen. Awkward silence stretches between them. George wraps his hands in the long hem of the soft hoodie and looks down in his lap while Max looks away from the TV screen. George tries to pretend he isn't looking, but in reality he watches every tiny detail - her face, the way she writhes in pleasure, his hands caressing her ass …. it looks different than the sex he is used to.
Toto usually just used him, it was always brutal and painful, but sometimes he wrapped his hands around George’s manhood and stroked him until he came. That was even worse than simply being used. When Toto forced him to cum, he called George a slut, he said George loves being his little whore, but thats not truth. George didn’t want to have sex with him, sex with Toto became the worst horror. Sex with Toto. What about sex with other people? Toto stole his first kiss, his virginity, he took everything until George became an empty shell, until he wasn’t a human but Toto’s toy.
“Does sex really feel this good?”
George doesn’t realize he said it on loud until Max pauses the movie.
“What do you mean?”
George shrugs.
“I have only slept with Toto, no one else.”
Max turns the TV off and looks at George. Okay. This evening is quite eventful. Max nervously rubs the palms of his hands against his thighs and slowly slides closer to George. He wants to steal another kiss, just a quick one. George doesn’t move away, he is still while Max slowly tilts his head back. George’s lips are so pretty and pink. Max presses a kiss on the soft lips and tastes George. He can feel the last drops of a peach tea clinging to George’s lips and George leans in Max’s kiss.
“If you want to … we can try it now…”
George isn’t sure, but he feels a tight heat growing inside his lower belly.
“Yeah …”
Max knows he must be slow and gentle, but when he picks George up, he isn’t sure he can that. Max almost runs upstairs and puts George down on the middle of his bed. His bedside table is full of condoms and bottles of lube. He doesn’t have sex that often, but when he does, he wants to go for the whole night.
George is confused. He doesn’t like sex, but why is his manhood hard and his ass clenching around nothing? Does arousal feel like this? He reaches his hands toward Max who tosses his shirt away and helps George out of the hoodie. Max’s warm hands slide across his naked arms and George feels goosebumps raising on his skin. It feels as if electricity or some other invisible power runs between their bodies. Max sits down on his heels and uses his teeth to open a small package with lubed condom and George closes his eyes. Everything aches and burns, but in a good way.
When George opens his eyes again, isn’t in Max’s cozy bedroom, no, he opens his eyes and sees the ceiling of their cold bedroom in Toto’s house in Berlin.
George doesn’t know how he should feel. He is married, his manly and older husband was all smiles during the ceremony and party, but then people left and they are alone and something inside Toto’s eyes shifted. He ordered George to strip and to get on all four on the bed. The bed which is still covered in red rose petals to celebrate their marriage and their first night as a married couple. George doesn’t think your husband should be this rough, Toto’s grip on his hips will definitely leave bruises, but when he tries to crawl away, Toto smacks his ass until the skin turns red and hot.
“I own you now so get that it the empty head of yours. From now on, you can’t say No to your husband. Understood?”
When Toto spanks him again, George bursts into tears. Things aren’t supposed to be like this! Toto said he loves him, but this …. this isn’t love. When Toto finally pushes inside him, George’s crying turns into pained screaming. Toto is splitting him in half! George grips the white bedsheets and looks at between his legs. Beads of red blood, his own blood, are rolling down his quivering thighs and George tries to squirm only for Toto to grab the back of his neck. He is tired of George’s screaming so he pushes his face in the soft pillows and keeps fucking his sobbing husband.
George wants this to end. He wants to go home, back to his small room, he doesn’t want to stay with Toto! George knows what his parents said - Be a good boy for your husband. But do they know what is Toto doing to him? They said Toto loves him, they promised him a comfy life full of love and happiness, so they lied?
This is how being married feels like?
Max. His concerned eyes are staring at him with so much worries and care that George’s breath hitches in his throat. Max. Not Toto. Toto is death, his body burnt together with the Italian villa.
Max didn’t know what he did wrong, George started whimpering and Max got scared he hurt him, that he is too fast, but then George opened his eyes again and wrapped his lanky arms around his muscular neck. Max allows to be pulled into another kiss and he runs his hands across George’s flat chest. Max feels a few marks - scars and small burns - and he immediately feels a wave of anger and protectiveness rushing through his body. He is going to kill everyone who hurt George because he loves him. The idea of sharing the same planet with people who abused George … it makes Max sick. One word. One word and he will kill them all. He already has his eyes on Horner, that sick fuck doesn’t know Carlos is watching him waiting for the signal from Max. Finding Kimi Antonelli was easier, that little bitch fleet the country as soon as the news about Toto’s death appeared everywhere. They should feel the same pain and despair George felt during the years when Toto controlled him. The vision of slowly torturing Horner makes Max hard. He is going to kill him for George, Horner will know why he is suffering, Max will tell him he is being punished for ever touching George, for tainting something so pure. He is going to do that … right after doing George.
Max’s lips suck on George’s prominent collar bones, his teeth gently nibble on George’s small nipples and Max travels down until he kisses the soft lower belly of the prettiest human he has ever seen. George’s hairs are blonde and fine like a peach fuzz and Max bites on his warm thighs before he puts one knee between George’s legs. Max hisses while putting the condom over his manhood and then he quickly kisses and mouths at George’s neck until George starts rocking and rubbing against his knee. They are both a mess, Max is panting and George moans every few seconds. Max carefully flips George so he is lying on his chest and pours a generous amount of the vanilla scented lube on two fingers of his left hand while using his right hand to spread George’s ass.
George moans and rubs his leaking cock against the mattress so when something cold and wet slips inside him, he squeaks in surprise until Max quickly explained he is only stretching him. George doesn’t complain, it’s nice and then a second finger slips inside him. George clenches around Max’s fingers, he can’t stop because it feels so good …. he needs Max.
Max could come only from listening to George’s breathy moans and begging, but he can’t tease George during their first time so he slowly pushes his hard cock inside George. He is so tight, Max squeezes more lube on the rest of his cock before finally sliding balls-deep. Max is kneeling between George’s long legs and supports himself by placing a hand on either side of George’s lean body. He enjoys the way George squeezes him, but then he slowly rocks his hips and tests if George can take him. George is immediately melting and mewls in pleasure. He can feel Max slipping deeper and deeper until the head of his penis rubs against something. George opens his mouth in weak scream because what the hell is that?
“Looks like we found your prostate.”
George has no idea what is that, but he needs Max to touch it again. Right now! Max pulls his cock all the way out until slamming back in the stretched hole.
George is completely out of it, his body limp, panting like an animal with drool running out of his opened mouth while Max keeps fucking him. His manhood is rubbing against the sweet spot and George cries in pleasure.
“Uh uh uhhh..”
George’s grunting is getting higher and whinier while Max fucks him, George even tries to rock back against Max, but then Max kisses his neck and George goes still.
It’s too much and suddenly he is coming everywhere, dirtying the sheets with his cum. He comes over and over before sobbing with over-stimulation as Max rides him. He barely feels Max coming inside him until Max lies down on his back. They are both sticky with sweat, but they don’t care. Max stays buried in George’s ass and kisses his pale skin and strokes his hair.
Max needs a moment to recover from his own orgasm, but then he rolls George over so he is lying in his arms.
“So..?”
George doesn’t answer, but his loopy smile is a good enough answer, George definitely enjoyed his first normal sex.
Things become steady. Max still leaves almost every day to take care of business and George bakes, but when Max comes home he must quickly find George and kiss him because he misses him every time they aren’t together. George’s epilepsy is also getting better thanks to his new doctor and medicine, it won’t go away, but they know George’s triggers and avoid them. George is even gaining weight and Toto’s taunting voice turned into whispers and then disappeared for good.
With Christmas quickly approaching, George remembers that his grandma taught him how to knit so he uses his memory and Youtube to knit again. George decided he wants to knit a present for Max so today Charles is taking him to a big yarn store. Charles doesn’t understand knitting so he mostly only follows George who is choosing the right yarn and needles. He occasionally asks Charles for his opinion and Charles really tries, but God, this is boring! He walks behind George keeping his eyes on the screen of his phone but then George suddenly stops and Charles bumps into him. He raises his head and quickly hides his phone while reaching for the gun hidden under his long winter coat, but then he realizes there is no threat. The yarn shop is mostly empty, only a woman and her husband are paying for their purchase. So why is George looking at them as if he sees a ghost? Charles needs a few seconds to realize the guy looks like Toto. He isn’t so tall or so fit, but he looks like Toto at first sight. Charles takes the shopping basket from George’s hand and quickly leads him outside, it earns them a few glances, but Charles needs to get George in the SUV because he has a feeling that a seizure might be coming. For once, Charles is right. He barely manages to push George on the back seat and the young man crumbles. It’s not a big seizure, but the way George grunts and squirms is unsettling. Charles takes him back home while also calling Max who is then already waiting for them outside the house. It looks like his boss definitely broke many traffic laws, but it’s nothing new.
George rests for the rest of the day, but then when Max is cooking dinner, Charles arrives dragging a few bags full of yarn balls. George silently thanks Charles who leaves before Max can ask why he came and the next day, George is busy knitting the sweater. He works when Max isn’t around and he is scared he won’t finish it before Christmas with Max taking him to Christmas markets, they meet Max’s friends, get a Christmas tree and decorations and George even tries skiing - that is fun but a bit terrifying. In the end George manages to finish the sweater in time. Christmas Eve comes and he can place the nicely wrapped gift under the Christmas tree. Max cooked dinner and after they eat, Max opens a bottle of Champagne saying they need to celebrate their first Christmas.
George is a bit nervous, he plays with the delicate champagne flute but puts it down when Max hands him a silver envelope. He encourages George to open it and a passport falls in George’s lap. A passport? For him?
“I think we both deserve a vacation. Bora Bora is waiting for us, baby.”
Bora Bora. Max shows him pictures and suddenly the sweater looks dumb. George watches Max who unwraps his gift and sighs.
“I… it’s a dumb sweater I made for you. I can get you something better.”
Max only chuckles and quickly takes his shirt off. The sweater is perfect. The red cashmere is soft and warm, and Max runs his fingers across the cable-knit pattern.
“I love it. Red is my favorite color.”
Max presses a soft kiss on George’s cheek and hugs him. He can’t believe he is celebrating Christmas. Usually he spent it alone or skiing in France, but this is way better. George relaxes against his chest, he is silently watching the tall Christmas tree with colorful little lights. His parents always argued during Christmas time and Toto didn’t celebrate it, and when Max heard it, he bought the biggest tree.
The champagne is making him a bit tipsy, George isn’t used to drinking alcohol and this fact mixed with so many emotions make him cry. Max immediately hugs him and asks him what is wrong, but George doesn’t know. What is wrong? No one is hurting him, Max takes care of him, protects him so why is he crying. George has no idea.
“I … what if this disappears? What if one day you will wake up and not love me anymore?”
Max chuckles before seeing George’s serious expression.
“That’s impossible! I have been waiting for you my whole life, nothing can change what I feel toward you.”
Max strokes George’s soft hair and presses him closer to his chest. George is still insecure, but Max knows that soon he will realize how strong Max’s love truly is. They will be together for the rest of their lives, George will bake delicious cakes, knits sweaters and Max will spoil him with jewelries, designer clothes and trips around the world. He still wants to kill Horner, he keeps an eye on everyone who hurt his George and if they ever come closer, if Max ever feels like they want to find George and hurt him, he will strike and kill them. Because from now on, no one and nothing can hurt his sweet George.
