Summary
Life for Liliana, a demiwolf (half human, half wolf) adopted by a vampire mafia don, was relatively simple. Serve as a button woman for the family, be wed to Kilian Eustice, the successor to a powerful werewolf clan based in the British Isles, then retire to give him heirs. She dreaded the future set for her, seeing it as nothing but a gilded cage.
She tried to convince herself that this was acceptable. It worked, at least for a while. Until her adoptive father's newest ally, Thomas Rainer, came in and made her question everything she deluded herself into believing.
