It's been exactly eight days and nine hours since Taehyung's scalp has been itching so bad and he almost wanted to bang his head on a wall (which is never a good idea). This indicates that he has seen or passed by his soulmate. Also, meaning that his soulmate is also suffering from this, hopefully not permanent, itch disease.
Taehyung scratched his scalp once again for the umpteenth time this hour, grunting in pleasure as the itch eases until it's subtle and bearable. And may I remind you that he's in his boring history class and he seems to be the main attraction or the main topic in this subject.
"Oh gosh it's mint! It's so cute!" One of his classmates’ half-whispers half-informs. Taehyung heaves a sigh before scratching his scalp a little bit more.
Mint-colored glitters fell softly from his head, landing on his shirt and his desk, magically disappearing after two seconds like it's some pixie dust.
His classmates seem to have found his glitters much more interesting than what the professor in front is discussing.
Why?
Because apparently his soulmate likes dyeing his/her hair a different color almost every day. It has been for the fifth time in this eight days and nine hours’ span.
They were once dark red. Twice rusty-orange, nice shade of pink, and a platinum blond.
Is his soulmate's scalp still holding his/her hair well? Taehyung bets their dry, frizzy, and coarse from all the dyeing. He wonders if they're dying.
"I wonder what it'll be tomorrow?" Another of his classmates’ whispers, anticipation obvious in his tone.
Taehyung shuffles on his seat and dusts off a few glitters on his shoulders that didn't disappear.
"I wonder how Tae's bright orange appears as a glitter on his soulmate's mint hair?"
Why can't his soulmate be contented in one color for a long time? I mean, yeah Taehyung admits they're all pretty colors but... you know, he wouldn't be all too happy if he meets a bald soulmate, would he?
At least Taehyung changes hair color in at least four months, unlike his soulmate.
"This is, like, one of the best thing that happened in this glitters and glows."
"Yeah, another is that tall guy in another year with rainbow colored hair. That was awesome."

After class, Taehyung immediately searches for his best friend on the other side of the campus. He can't take this anymore. He just can't suffer any more of this horrible itchiness (and he also wants it to end for the sake of his soulmate).
"Jimjams!" Taehyung calls his red haired friend. "Help." He says desperately. Jimin jogs towards him while Taehyung dramatically slides down the wall, his back against it.
"Wow, mint huh?" Even his best friend is amazed of this. Gosh.
"Look, I need help. I need to look for my soulmate this instant."
Jimin ruffles Taehyung's hair as more of the mint glitters fall off of his bright orange strands, chuckling softly as he finds amusement at the despair of his friend.
"I don't know how I could contribute in this help you need but let us see me try."

And by instant, Taehyung meant after two days. He's had enough of this because really, the more his soulmate changes hair color the more the itchiness becomes unbearable. He once scratched his head on a concrete wall like a pig and it was not a good experience. Those anti-itching shampoos they sell in the market doesn't even work well whether it be pricey or not.
"Enlighten me why we are inside a coffee shop at nine in the evening?" He asks Jimin who's seating across him and enjoying his cup of 70% milk 20% sugar and 10% coffee. Jimin's short legs hanging on the tall stool and he sways them a little. And Taehyung's not gonna lie that this is one of the cutest thing that Park Jimin did.
Jimin promptly looks around the shop before carefully putting his coffee on top of the wooden table and then leans forward with his elbows resting on the table and his chin resting on his knuckles. He looks like he's about to drop the biggest bomb of the century but, really, he is the bomb.
"As I recall, ten days ago at around this time we were in this place." Jimin says, and casually wiping off the new grey glitters on Taehyung's face. “It was the day or night—whatever—wherein you said you were dying and in need of 50 liters of caffeine for your exams.” Taehyung quirks his eyebrows as if he's thinking hard but, really, he's just trying hard. "Wow your soulmate dyed his/her hair again. It was just mint an hour ago." He pinpoints, and then scratched his own scalp, mumbling about what color would his glitters be and where on earth could his soulmate be.
Taehyung looked at him astonished. "Do that again."
"Do what again?"
"Black."
"What black?"
"Your glitters. They're pure black." Taehyung says amazed. He pinched some glitters from the shoulder area of Jimin's light blue shirt and showed it to him. The latter widening his eyes up to its maximum capacity and roams his cute little eyes around the shop because, maybe, he might see someone shedding red glitters from his/her raven black hair.
And he does.
A guy in white shirt and has an earphone plugged up his ears, still hasn't the notice the fiery red glitters as he's preoccupied with his phone. Too preoccupied to even bother.
Jimin dashed like a mad man towards the clueless cute guy sitting on the couch inside the shop, Taehyung mindlessly following after him. Said guy looks up at Jimin bewildered, eyes twice as wide as they normally are and his front bunny tooth peeking out of his lips.
"Wow you're like... looks really hot." Said cute guy blurts out, shame error not found. "Like literally with a glowing fire red hair." He says, pointing at Jimin's hair. "How does mine look?" Now he seems to be very excited, ruffling his own hair and amazed at how his glitters look. "Wow red is my favorite color."
"You look amazing." Says Jimin, and attempted to wink (he failed) towards the raven haired guy. Taehyung literally face palmed and left the two to have some time by themselves. Maybe his scalp (and soulmate) could wait for another day.
As Taehyung was stepping out of the coffee shop he bumped onto someone. Said someone, in black hoodie, light blue washed jeans, and a white beanie, scowled at him with a growl but switched expression from 100 to .001 real quick. Colors drained from his already pale face, with a manly gasp (it’s manly, alright haha).
Said someone pulled his hoodie and beanie off and it took Taehyung three loud gasps from himself until he realizes what this is. And then he heaves another loud gasp, eyeing the glowing grey hair adorning such grumpy pretty pale face. Said someone stared back at him, as struck as Taehyung is, amazed at Taehyung’s hair glowing like the firefox.
Taehyung decided the silence should be cut off and he pulled his hand out off his pocket—offering a handshake—greeting the other with a boxy grin. “Taehyung. Kim Taehyung. Nice meeting you, finally.” Said someone accepted his handshake with a tight smile.
“Yoongi. Min Yoongi. Nice meeting you as well, finally.”
“I think the platinum blond really does suit you well but they look like dandruffs as glitters. Sorry.” Taehyung notes, making the other broke out in a gummy laugh. And yeah, Taehyung thinks that was adorable.
